Very disrespectful, music too loud, no class at all! You will do well to avoid this place and opt for a quieter location where you can actually enjoy your time with a quality lady.

Firstly, I'm disappointed I didn't take pictures. I was dancing from jump! This is a nice spot on Bay St. When you walk in the spot gives a event hall vibe. Spacious with a bar to the right and table top seating to the left. Met one of the two bartenders & she was nice, friendly & accommodating. The dance floor area is in the center once you take two steps up & the DJ is to your immediate right in a glass booth spinning tunes. Nicely enough, 1847 has a garden, so if you want to grab some air or smoke you can & there is plenty seating. I enjoyed myself & met some cool people & danced a lot for sure. I'll visit again & you would especially if you want to free it up with some good music. Note the name of the spot has to do with Libera and it's year of independence & you feel that vibe through & through. Note: The $10 cover can discourage in 2022 is a bit of a pill thus 3-star rating.

Considering one of their patrons tried to run 3 other ones over at 1215 in the morning, I don't think its a place I would go to. Can't give 0 stars.

Gd Music,Drinks & Ppl... Bartenders & Staff are Respectful..
Marlequin Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
It’s my understanding that this place is under new management and it shows. I arrived after 9 to be charged a $10 cover which was a surprise. I’ve been to many establishments and women were NEVER charged, especially that early in the evening. A lot more improvements need to be made but it has potential as a neighborhood dive
Baindu Ken
A home away from home where you cut across all nationalities. Its a reunion center for mainly Liberians back home and the diaspora.
The drinks are reasonable while d grill is off d hook. Mouth watering n finger licking fish, roadt beef n chicken. Liberian dishes are real good too from Baindu's fingers.
In a nut shell, 1847 is the place to be.
