when i made an order on ubereats, it says tacos, plurally. i was under the impression that i was going to receive more than one taco per order. however when i received the order, there was only one individual taco per order. not worth the price for one single taco.

Talk about a hidden gem on Staten Island, what a great meal we had at Alfonso’s Cantina. From there Queso Del Mar appetizer as our starter to our entrees Campestre Chicken & Alfonso Tacos to Borracho BBQ, everything was superb!!!! Thanks for a great dinner!

Nice little place, but it’s pretty hit and miss. Theres been nights i’ve gone that the food was bland and not memorable, and other times it’s been really good. Grilled chicken is probably their strongest option

Excellent quality ingredients with some actually brought from Mexico 🇲🇽 whatever you get, food or drink will be delicious and very authentic. This is the second restaurant from the owner and is absolutely incredible. I’m vegetarian and appreciate that they have quite a few options with veggies. I got nachos and a burrito, both excellent!

Clean and comfortable inside, I didn't have any drinks but it has a bar with a specialty drinks. Didn't get anything fancy to eat but what I ordered didn't blow my socks off. Standard cheese quesadilla and a pork and pineapple quesadilla. Both were a little heavy on the cheese and greasy. Ordered a beef empanada and it wasn't fabulous. Maybe they nuked it who knows. Honestly will go back and give it another try. Seems like a cozy spot and I'm sure it has some great dishes.

The food was extremely tasteful and the customer service was superb. For all my gringos, it is non-mexican friendly; English menus and servers, and only moderately spicy. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for basic spanish food: tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas.
