Talk about a hidden gem on Staten Island, what a great meal we had at Alfonso’s Cantina. From there Queso Del Mar appetizer as our starter to our entrees Campestre Chicken & Alfonso Tacos to Borracho BBQ, everything was superb!!!! Thanks for a great dinner!

Nice little place, but it’s pretty hit and miss. Theres been nights i’ve gone that the food was bland and not memorable, and other times it’s been really good. Grilled chicken is probably their strongest option

Excellent quality ingredients with some actually brought from Mexico 🇲🇽 whatever you get, food or drink will be delicious and very authentic. This is the second restaurant from the owner and is absolutely incredible.
I’m vegetarian and appreciate that they have quite a few options with veggies.
I got nachos and a burrito, both excellent!
