So let me tell you something , i was there a few weeks ago and i got the typical italian sandwich
One thing i have never seen in my life ( and i am 62 y o ) is that they weight the sandwich to price it
No wonder a roll with cold cuts is $ 16
I will never go there again , that s for sure
always have the freshest food and if have a question they are more then willing to try and answer it for you. great staff always nice nd polite.
always great products. bought fresh pasta, beautiful hand trimmed chicken cutlets, and delicious crusty Italian bread. A pleasure and Staten Island staple !
Pastosa is a great spot for fresh made pasta and select gourmet food items. I love local businesses that get things right. The deli section is amazing with meats and prepared foods.

Customer service is great. You can call up to see if they have your item before you go.
Wonderful soups, bread, bakery, and a variety of desserts, cookies.
Also, great prepared food at the walk-in counter.
They never disappoint us.
Came back to mention an issue with the quality of their product. $50 later I was given a very sincere "I'm sorry"...no offer for any type of gesture to make it right. Bad business practices. Save your reply Pastosa.

So I’ve been going to pastosa ravioli my whole life and the Bensonhurst location is actually my local location but I had to see a co worker out here on Staten Island and stopped over to the store and I strongly believe it is also a fantastic location Mike the manager is a excellent store operator and Vincent AKA senior is a very nice person this is a respectable business I’m happy to always support and it deserves great recognition
Was in there over the weekend. Excellent food, reasonable prices, superb and polite staff. Very knowledgeable of products. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. A++++
