First of all it’s insane that you have to ask for pickles and coleslaw when you order a burger to go. We did just that and the person taking the order can’t even get it right . Then tells me oh I took that order you didn’t ask for it. BULL , she said anything else? I said yes the pickles and coleslaw slaw please . She then says oh come back for it . Yea let me come back for it so my burger can be cold and soggy
Terrible service

This place never disappoints!
The food is good, it arrives hot and is brought to you by a friendly, accommodating staff member.
No complaints at all :)

Nice looking place, great service, but food mediocre. We were 5 for breakfast a friends favorite place so I will be easy on my review. Had better brunch in other places including a fast food location. Food too expensive not worth it.

My husband and I recently had breakfast here and the server was super polite and fast, our omelettes and potatoes were great and we really recommend the cappuccino! Our new favorite in the neighborhood !

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Annadale Terrace, a diner I’ve been loyal to, visiting at least four or five times a month. I usually order the Annadale Terrace Wrap, but this time I decided to try something different and ordered the grilled calamari salad.
Before ordering, I asked the waiter how it was, and he assured me it was really good. However, when it arrived, the smell of fish was so overpowering that you could’ve smelled it from across the restaurant. I took one bite and immediately spit it out it was extremely chewy, like a rubber band.
I told the waiter right away that the salad smelled bad and was far too tough to eat. I sent it back and ordered my usual wrap instead, along with one to go. Shortly after, a woman named Sofia approached my table and asked what was wrong with the salad. I explained that it had a very strong, unpleasant fishy smell and was extremely chewy.
To my shock, she told me that both she and the chef had tasted it. I found that completely inappropriate and unsanitary, especially since I had already eaten from the plate and even spit a piece back onto it. She then informed me that while she would take it off the bill this time, she wouldn’t do so in the future.
I told her plainly that I don’t eat food that doesn’t taste good and will always send it back if I’m unhappy with it. Her response was incredibly unprofessional—she said, “We don’t need customers like you in our establishment,” and insisted there was nothing wrong with the food.
I remained polite, paid my bill, and left, but I was extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as Sofia’s behavior was both rude and disrespectful. She should absolutely be retrained on how to speak to customers.
On top of that, I noticed the bathroom was filthy which is concerning because a dirty bathroom often reflects the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Perhaps the staff should focus more on maintaining hygiene and less on berating paying customers.

Great service & good atmosphere. Great for breakfast or dinner. Pricey for the quality for sure so bring your wallet filled to the brim with cash. Gianna was the best server aside from the OG. I recommend anything you can afford.

They ripped us off. The plate-sharing fee had been removed from the menu, but they charged it, and the waitress neglected to forewarn us. We were similarly charged for ranch dressing and for pickles. Yeah, we were charged for the pickles. These charges were not given to us in advance.

Further, our waitress, bringing our food, slammed down the plates; she looked overwhelmed, so I asked her if she was OK. I got a scowl in return.

Management refused to address any of these issues. So, when you go, caveat emptor.

What happened to the Annadale Diner? Food was awful! I ordered a Roma panini. It was supposed to be a breaded cutlet. What came out of the kitchen was a processed-meat patty that was brown in color and clearly low grade. It was nauseating.
Now they nickel and dime you to death, as well. I asked for a second pickle and was given a few on a plate, and an additional charge of nearly $4.00 on the bill, a charge that was never mentioned by the waitress until I asked about it. Also, one person at the table ordered some dressing to go with her wrap, and was charged an extra dollar. Again, never mentioned until the bill came and we had to ask. Yet another in our party wanted to split their dish and was charged $5.00 extra dollars to do so. Again, no mention of the charge until we asked about it on our bill. Management's explanation was that the nickel and dime charges are in the 10+ pages of the menu, and I was supposed to scour through the multiple pages to discover these charges on my own. Oh yeah, then there was the heavy metal music blaring through the speakers so loudly that we had to shout across the table to hear each other.
Additionally, the outside landscaping has been neglected and left to almost be overgrown with weeds. The menus are falling apart with the plastic peeling off the pages, so on and so on. I felt I was watching an old friend fade away! So sad!
Thinking about the way the owner used to take pride in this place, and built it to be our neighborhood eatery, it's hard to believe it has gone down this far.
Bye, bye Annadale dinner (oh, excuse me Terrace) we will miss you.
