Applebee's Grill + Bar

Visited with my husband and son on a hot and humid Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the restaurant had no working AC, which made dining in quite uncomfortable. Despite the heat and being clearly overworked, the staff remained incredibly polite, attentive, and kind. something we truly appreciated. Our food was served quickly and tasted great. However, the cleanliness of the dining area could use improvement, many tables were left uncleaned, and there was food on the floor. It would really help to have someone dedicated to cleaning, separate from the waitstaff. Overall, good food and great service, but the environment made it hard to fully enjoy the experience.

I had such a wonderful time at Applebee's with my family. Our waitress Mikaila was wonderful and sweet. The assistant manager Derek also came by to ask us if everything was well. I love they were both attentive and gave us a great time. Good was well cooked despite the busy hour I came in. Would recommend 10/10

Sarah was our waitress and she was amazing. She was kind, attentive, and very helpful! The food was also fresh, hot, and delicious. Derrick was also kind and helpful as well. I haven’t been to Applebees in years, but I’ll definitely be back! Thank you guys!

Allison was working her ass off. Seemed like her section was severely understaffed. She had a million tables but still kept a positive attitude and handled our table with a smile doing her best. She said she was working in the kitchen too. Shoutout Allison

This place is abandoned. The tables were somewhat dirty, and the food is pretty greasy. My dad and I went out to eat here last night and we both got burgers with fries. Now the burgers and fries were delicious, but were very greasy. And the drinking water was ice cold.

Just a head’s up: I don’t recommend drinking ice cold water while eating greasy and oily food. The cold water will turn the grease and oil into sludge and can cause digestive discomfort.

And what else happened was that there was a fire alarm flashing and sounding. It was very loud and annoying, and it was taking forever for someone to stop it. They said there was a new security guard that didn’t know how to stop the alarm.

I would come here again, place just needs some minor improvements.

I've been to Applebee's many times at the Staten Island Mall and the service keeps getting worse and worse last time I went with a friend took an hour and a half to get my meal and it was cold I will never go back there again 😡😡😡

Please if you go to eat here be sure you don’t leave stuff my son lost his AirPods and their workers found it but they don’t want to give back and the servers didn’t give good service and the AirPods would indicate near the kitchen and they didn’t want to check.

Sean B was so personable and sweet. I haven't been to Applebees in years and when you order to-go, it can take a long time to flag a waiter down. Sean was attentive from the start and paid attention to detail. I just wanted to share this because he deserves the recognition! The host at the front also displayed excellent customer service. We were about to leave and she convinced us to stay and order out! :)
