Great service. Food is hit or miss. An older location and you can see it in the furnishings and carpet. Needs an upgrade.

This place is dated, shabby and lifeless. We tried visiting it this weekend after shopping nearby but were met with 2 employees bickering over who service turn it was and we shoukd have taken tge hint abd walk right out but with hungry kids its not that easy.

We were seated and sat and sat while the server talked and talked with a couple who walked in after us. It was about 20 mins and no one even took a drink order. I knew this wasn't a good sign and began doubting the quality of the food because serve and experience wasn't happening. As I scanned the room, I noticed a large group with dirty plates and service plates full of cold chicken fingers and fries, they too were waiting with a glaze stare on their face.
I spoke to my group and said let's get out of here, let's go to Tommy Tavern. We got up just when the chatty server finally finished her conversation and we told her we are tired of just waiting and were leaving. We made it clear the service was awful to both servers and walked out, truth be told neither cared. In addition, when a server us constantly handling the broom without washing their hands as I saw the male server do multiple times, RUN! OH, this place was pretty empty unlike Tommy Tavern, its like night and day!

This Applebee's is probably the best one on the island. Every time I've come here, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the staff always welcomes me in with a smile. The food was always good, and it was always served quickly and always cooked well. Never had to send anything back. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating, the service is quick and attentive. Took my family here for my son's 4th birthday (he was adamant about going to Applebee's) and, even though they don't do the birthday candles and song anymore, they made an exception and sang Happy Birthday to him, which they didn't have to do. Though the food was good and the restaurant was clean, it's the little things like this that keep customers coming back. I haven't had a bad experience at this location, and seeing the smile on my son's face was an extra treat that I was able to experience here.

The service here is terrible. On a Saturday lunch time they have one person covering the bar and all the tables. It took at least 35 minutes to get our Cesar salad and then another 20 minutes to get our entre. Then I had ordered 1 additional item and I was told it was coming out and it never did. Place is understaffed and it takes forever to get served. Place is run very poorly. I won't be back.

Just had dinner at Applebee's tonight. Daniella was our server and she was very helpful with the menu choices. She was pleasant and definitely a great waitress! She makes you want to come back, and we will!!!!

Visited this Apple Bees today. I originally went there to pass some time for an appointment I had set for my dog at Petco. When I walked in I was greeted by a young man who asked me where I would like to sit. Not thinking about it at all & knowing I was by myself I chose the bar because I didn’t see the reason for me to sit in a booth if I’m alone. When I got to the bar a young lady came to take my order. While waiting I went off to the bathroom real quick before my order had come. When I came back it took a while to get my food. The young lady was moving around doing other things & I get it. I’m from New Orleans & worked in the hospitality industry for years before becoming a truck driver & company owner so I understand. But, I noticed the lack of urgency & concern that she had for me while sitting. Mind you I was just there to eat & leave. I literally had a $20-$25 tip with her name on it. But, as time progressed & she was busy tending to other tables without noticing me at all. I had to get my food served by the manager of the restaurant. Ok. I get it. She’s busy right. Cool. Understandable. But, the problem came in when I literally waited to see if she would notice that I had nothing left to drink & that my other food was taking a while to come out. It took her maybe 10-15 minutes to even acknowledge that I was still waiting. Then when I told her I just needed a refill on my drink (Which was a Pepsi) she continued whatever she was doing. Maybe 5-10 minutes later she asked the Host can he help her real quick. In which the host was actually a pretty good sport. He was the one that actually helped besides the manager. He came through with my food, to go plates & my drink. This young lady didn’t even try to take payment from me. Which is crazy. Lol. I literally had to ask the host about the payment & he told her afterwards. She finally came over to take payment. In which I paid & although I should have not left her a tip, I did anyways because it just doesn’t feel right for me to not leave anybody a tip when I’ve worked in this industry for over a decade & know that they pretty much rely on tips for their income. She could have a family at home to feed so, I wasn’t going to leave nothing. But, I would like for her to know that she missed a good tip being negligent. Sorry for the word if it’s offensive but, that’s pretty much the energy she gave me. Meanwhile the food was good & fresh. I appreciate that & also appreciate the host & manager. Big ups to you guys. Probably won’t be returning to this location because of so much traveling with work. But, overall I’m disappointed with the bar tender & am happy with the manager, host & food.

The place is severely understaffed. The staff that is working looks exhausted and stretched thin. It’s clear management isn’t investing in proper staffing anymore. The food is bland, sloppily presented, and nowhere near worth the inflated prices they’re now charging. The drinks are just as bad-watered down, poorly mixed, and wildly overpriced for what you get.
