Bagels on the Boulevard

I ordered a BEC last week, and while nowhere in the description, they put ketchup on my sandwich. I ordered today through DoorDash and in the comment section, I wrote “no ketchup please”. After delivery, I got notice from DoorDash that the bagel store up charged me $3.42 EXTRA due to the “special instructions” - to NOT put ketchup on it. $11 for an already expensive BEC on a roll. I spend about $200 a month there. They wouldn’t get another dime from me.

Very unfortunate. Girl servicing me and taking my order upfront was very kind and attentive. Service and atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, I ordered an OG and Reuben which is supposed to have coleslaw and sauerkraut (Reuben has sauerkraut or coleslaw typically).. both came with neither just pastrami and cheese. Very disappointing. It was fine but got something completely different from what is advertised.

I don't know where to begin. The first time I ordered a hero of pastrami with what I wanted on it, it was loaded with so much oil it was all over my hands, face and new pants. I told the cook and you could see he felt bad, so I decided to give them an extra chance.
The second time I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with only salt and pepper. I told the girl three times. I look in the sandwich, there was tons of ketchup in it.
The third time since it is close to my home, again I ordered a pastrami sandwich hero a blueberry muffin and a piece of cake.
The hero bread was stale, also the blueberry muffin. She asked me 6x times what I wanted on my hero.

I understand Spanish very well. She was speaking to her staff on how I was Italian, fat etc., when I called her on it, she told me I could have a free coffee but I left. They were closing so I sat by the entrance. Multiple times she told me I had to get up.

Everyone is very friendly but the food is below average and very expensive. The Greek omelet was ok, didn't like the raw onions in the omelet. I also added home fries to the meal, never again. The home fries are cover in some red sauce for some reason.

Every time I’ve ordered from them they forgot something like if I say add mayo they never do

I got a ham egg and cheese on a bagel. They literally gave me ONE slice of ham on the bagel. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich and they accidentally put ketchup on it which ruined it. It’s not worth telling them what you want because they will do whatever they want anyways.

BLT after an overnight shift! Yummmmy! Truthfully the best blt I’ve ever had.

Best bagels on my side of Staten Island. Staff is getting familiar with my complicated bagel order. Thank you

2.50 for the OJ
The BEC was meh for the price skimpy on the eggs and bacon
The bagel was fresh, at least.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
