These people seem to mean well, but the parent company doesn't really know how to run an online business. We ordered a birthday cake, for which my wife prepaid. The confirmation said to stop by at noon on the given day; I arrived at 12:30. Sadly, the cake wasn't ready -- it wasn't even in the store! Apparently, they make the cakes in a second location on the other side of town and it still was there! So I made a second trip 90 minutes later and there it was -- along with a district manager, who offered a sincere apology.That's all well and good...but here's my bigger issue. The employee when I first arrived offered -- very appropriately, I might add! -- that they had other cakes in the front freezer. "Oh, great," I said, and started to walk that way. "Can you write a greeting on it?" Turns out that's not allowed -- no greetings can be done "locally;" only at the store across town.Yeah, their ice cream cakes are good and they try hard. Still room for improvement, though...and, perhaps, a little training to enable employees to write a few simple words on an existing cake if the custom one doesn't make it by the deadline!

Lots of missing flavors.No toppings (literally, they said all they could do was whipped cream and sprinkles-no hot fudge, no pb cups, nothing).They didn’t even have a basic flavor like chocolate.The staff member didn’t say they were out, he just said they “Don’t do“ sauces and toppings. What???
