The coffee is always fantastic, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is second to none. If you're on Forest Ave getting your coffee anywhere but here you are making a mistake.

We did not stay as they "ran out" of the egg waffle and the hungry man. We then drove 20 minutes to their other location, where service was great. We even bought 3lbs of coffee beans.

Food amazing, service awesome!! Girls that work here are doing a magnificent job. Only problem is you guys have limited seating and always someone camping out nursing a coffee while they waste time on a laptop or reading a book. Hogging a table that someone could be using. More than once had to get my food to go for that reason. Otherwise coffee is on point! Waffles are best I’ve ever had. Service is excellent.

Your loyal customers stood by you during covid, while other local businesses were closing. Ungratefulness! is the beginning then it spreads like a cancer. Remember the stock market crash? God is in control.

There's a saying "The Pendulum swing both ways"! You mentioned in your response, how you had no recognition while patting yourself on the back. What was your reason, revealing the names of your loyal customers, especially a little girl. They didn't write a review, I did. You should have addressed the review. Instead, you chose to attack this innocent family. I after learning something was said, seeing feelings were hurt. 7-8 days passed and no apology? knowing they frequent your shop 2-3 times a day, every day. Read your response, it's very contentious, you considered these loyal customers Family? So, you left out the many years these loyal customers. Swept your floors, cleaned your bathroom, help serve customers, disinfect and wiped your tables, bussed, picking up new customers tabs and diffusing your angry, impatient patrons. These loyal customers who you considered family??? were discarded like yesterday's newspaper. They didn't write a review, nor did they speak ill of you, staff or your business. God is in control

You have posted your responses to many reviews, with full knowledge it's a "PUBLIC FORUM" Posting wasn't enough, you also sent an impolite text to the grandmother. And I quote "I will say the following to anyone that chooses to read this review" The response of the person, who rushed to remove their post for fear it shows their true character. It did! You were so busy spewing in your original response you forgot you text, your removed post to the grandmother. After all, "its business" Reminder you have a business because, customers spend their hard-earned money they work for to take care of their children also, in your establishment! "As a service provider" your words, it is your job, not your customer, who've helped care for your cafe. God is in control...

I usually enjoy hanging out at coffee shops, but my recent experiences at Beans have been disappointing. While it's good to see a busy shop—an indicator that they must be doing something right—the inefficiency I've encountered lately is hard to overlook.

My most recent visit was particularly frustrating. Despite there being 4-5 girls behind the counter, only one person was actively helping customers. The dining room was closed in preparation for a party, which should have freed up staff to assist with the customer flow. Instead, I witnessed two girls engaged in a casual conversation, one girl washing dishes, and only one girl actually serving customers. This lack of coordination is problematic, especially when there are customers waiting.

There were just two people ahead of me, yet it still took an inordinately long time to get my drink. Additionally, the equipment they're using seems outdated. They still pour coffee from a glass Bunn jar, reminiscent of the 80s. This method is not only outdated but also inefficient. Modern commercial dispensers would streamline the process and eliminate the need for manual pouring, thereby reducing wait times.

The shop has a nice setup, but these operational issues significantly detract from the overall experience. I hope they address these problems soon, as it's a place with potential that’s currently being wasted due to poor management and outdated practices.

Their leaves are lipton, for hot tea. Very strange and a strong contrast from the quality of their food, when the kitchen is open

I'll never give this place my money again. In December, I ordered a package of joe (Iced) from them and paid $20 plus any applicable taxes. In April, I ordered two boxes of Joe (iced), paying $20 plus tax for each. I went in today and ordered a box of Joe (Iced) and was informed my total was $30. I said that the last several times I attended, I paid $20 and even received milk, which was not included on this particular day. However, today I was told “it’s $30 because it’s ICED” I didn't care about the milk; it was more about the idea because I've been told personnel have charged me incorrectly the last several times. Additionally, a colleague of mine bought a box of Joe (iced) 2 days prior and was charged the $20 as well. Not to mention on their website it states a box of Joe is $20, it does not specify that it is only a HOT box of Joe.I didn't care about the milk; it was more about the idea because I've been told personnel have charged me incorrectly on several occasions. I am in disbelief the owner saying that I cursed at staff, was I upset ? 100% because I was being charged $10 more for “iced” and to make it “iced” what do they do put it in the fridge ? In addition I am appalled that the owner tried to say I changed my mind during my pick up in April which is untrue attached is a picture of my message stating in parenthesis I would like the coffee to be iced. And as I said before a box of Joe on their menu states it is $20. Attached is also a picture of the small pastry tray that the owner is saying was sold for $40, the pricing is was actually $50 and I ordered 2 boxes of Joe (iced) making them $20 each and my total $100 with taxes. This place is money hungry and liars!
