Came in for a simple cappuccino and what I got was a great conversation with an OG, Johnny Beans. Got a sample of their new frozen dirty chai, which was unreal. And ended up getting the world famous crumb cake which was 12/10. Will definitely be back and for sure the best spot on Staten Island.

The coffee is sheer perfection and so are the pastries! This was my first time visiting Staten Island and I was blown away by the kindness and hospitality of the people there. From the owner, the locals, and the barista I experienced nothing but generosity and hospitality. They also took the time to make us feel welcome, explain the transit system, and made suggestions on places to visit while in the area. I look forward to coming back!
I brought some of my students here as an end-of-year celebration and Mr. Beans and his family treated them like celebs! This charming gem of the neighborhood makes everyone feel like a cherished family member. I couldn’t be more grateful for John’s generosity and for sharing instructional anecdotes in a way that encourages kids to pursue their life dreams as he did his. We had a blast and absolutely loved our desserts and frosty drinks! Thank you for the memories you helped us make! I want to add that I've gone here many times since I wrote that first review and just discovered probably the best coffee treat EVER--I think it was called a pistachio latte--maybe an horchata--made by such a nice young woman named Eylul. This is my favorite coffee shop in the world--try the anisette biscotti, OMG.
