I’ve been to Beso in Staten Island several times, and I went again yesterday before a show at St. George Theatre. From making the reservation to the amazing food, service, and overall experience, everything was great once again. I was with a group of 8, and our waitress, Christy, was amazing—she took everyone’s food orders quickly, made sure we had everything we needed, and stayed on top of drink refills all night. Even though it was a very busy night, the food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted very fresh and delicious. I will definitely be going again and would highly recommend Beso to others.

We went to Beso Thursday night to more or less beat the weekend crowds. I dont know what's taken us so long to go back to this gem! We got there around 6:20 and sat at the bar. Mark, the bartender informed us that we had a few minutes left to grab the Happy hour specials. Even though we were set on get the prefixe menu, we couldn't resist the Happy hour appetizers. The lamb chops were done to perfection. The enchildas were plentiful and tasty. We still ordered the prefixe as we like to enjoy the food the next day gor lunch or dinner. I'm doing thinking of the clams and chorizo! The broth was beyond amazing! The Limon chicken was not your basic boring chicken. It was tender and tasty, off the hook!
From start to finish everything was A+. Mark was fabulous, the food was hot and served quickly. We will not be hesitating the next time we go out... we're going back to Beso!

The food was good and we have eaten there multiple times . However last night, when stopping by for food and drinks after work, while seated waiting for food , the waitress dropped something directly next to our table and apologized multiple times. I actually thought she dropped water and told her it’s ok. She never mentioned she dropped oil and when I got home I noticed my boots were destroyed and basically garbage at this point. Since she knew she dropped oil on my leather boots she should have mentioned it and since it’s dark inside it’s hard to see. I usually don’t write reviews but this was very unsettling

Haven't been to Beso in over 10 years and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing I can not think of one bad thing we ate. Their Tapas for menu was perfect and came with so much food. Can't wait to go back which will be very soon.

We had reservations for Beso since 2/4 for 2/14. On 2/13, after having confirmed our dinner reservation by email in the morning, a guy named Andrew called me last night from Beso to basically say we HAD TO ORDER FROM THE Valentine's Day PRE-FIXE MENU and PAY A PART IN ADVANCE. Reservation cancelled. Who does business like that? Beso lost a customer in us and my extended family, who frequently dine there. A stunt like that the night before Valentine's Day is sneaky and cries desparation. Additionally, it was so last minute that we couldn't secure a reservation elsewhere that we would like to have eaten. Typically, we go to Blue but I am learning the owner of Beso owns that too so I don't think the treatment we received deserves our loyalty at any of the restaurants. Owner owns Bayou too which we have only dined at once. I'm sure they don't care.
Omg,their happy hour menu is A1,from the drinks to the lamp chops to the the fresh guacamole, everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned and great portions, absolutely recommend 10/10

Went with a group of friends I hadn’t seen in years. The restaurant was EXTREMELY accommodating. That alone made it five stars for me. Then the food was amazing and the service was great. Would highly recommend.

Beso!!!!! Tapas on Staten Island absolutely delivers. Honestly, just about everything on the menu is a must-try—they really did their thing here. Even on a packed Saturday night, the service was solid and never felt rushed. What really stands out is how comfortable and enjoyable the dining experience is—you actually get to relax and enjoy your food, which isn’t always the case when a place is busy.
This spot truly needs no introduction, but if you haven’t been yet, don’t walk… run. It’s a fantastic dining experience for groups of all sizes and one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Our waitress, Amanda, was terrific. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was awesome. We were in an upstairs room with other diners. It was quiet and enjoyable. Food, and the price, was fabulous! We will definitely be back.
Came in cold and hungry. Had a long day out in NYC with our kids and we found what we were looking for. Food was DELICIOUS, came quickly and great service. Would 100% recommend

Food was as good or better than tapas I've had in Spain. Friendly, efficient service also.
