Blue is fantastic restaurant for entire meal and ambiance. From appetizers to the main course to the huge cargo ships and tug boats going by, this has become my favorite restaurant on Staten Island! Octopus, baked claims, thai calamari, lamb meatballs all terrific and thats just appetizers. All of it just delicious!

Outstanding experience from cocktails to dessert! We were a party of 4 and seated by the window with a view of the water. Two of us had the salmon and two had the rack of lamb. The salmon was covered in a teriyaki sauce and served over a bed of salad that included apples and figs. Never had a better salmon dish! The service was top notch as well.

The food here is always on point. I arrived and had a drink at the bar. The staff was super friendly and the drink was perfectly made. The bar area was clean and as soon as clients got up from the bar, the bartender Nelson was right there cleaning up. The manager and hostess checked me in before my reservation time. They escorted me to the side room which was a first for me. The windows give you a nice scenic view of passing ships and the railroad track was cool. There is no train service that comes through. The food was amazing. I had the Thai calamari to start. Perfectly fried and seasoned and most importantly fresh. I followed with the chicken sorentino. Two nice sized chicken breasts, fresh eggplant, Italian ham, and cheese cooked in a perfect lemon butter sauce. They brought over homemade mashed potatoes perfectly plated. The waiter was very professional and it overall it was an amazing experience. I finished the night with another drink at the bar. There is plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are maintained and clean. It's always a great experience here.

Absolutely great!! The food, the service, the pace of the meal. could not be better. I love that they have enclosed the outdoor area and added air conditioning. The outside is now part of the inside and therefore much more comfortable. One of my absolute favorites! The food was excellent as always and the new cocktails were exceptional!!

A delightful lunch experience all around. The water view of the marine traffic through Kill Van Kull adds a special dimension to the friendly, responsive service at Blue. We had an excellent luncheon experience. I especially enjoyed the zucchini soup that was served along with my stuffed flounder entree. The dessert selection was wonderful. We look forward to a return visit.

My first two choices of salmon and beet salad were not available, I ended up ordering not what I wanted but rather what was available at the moment. The service was slow, the water was refilled once during the 2 hour dining period. No bread served. Not all desserts that are listed were available for ordering either. My son asked for tiramisu and it was not available. Really surprised with many dishes not available for ordering while listed on the menu. Limits diners choices quite a lot. I used to love this place, but no longer worth my travel.
It is a beautiful setting, on the water. The interior is elegant, not overwhelming. The food is tasty and reasonably priced and the wait staff neither ignores nor over checks. They are wonderful.

May 2025 An unforgettable experience from beginning to end! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect—every detail, from the service and scenic views to the ambiance and cuisine, went above and beyond our expectations. Our server, Cassidy, was warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. We opted for the Prix Fix Dinner and began with the Pasta Bolognese, which was rich, hearty, and delicious. For the main course, we had the Teriyaki-Glazed Salmon served over spring greens with apples, feta, dried figs, and cranberries, all lightly dressed with a bright orange vinaigrette—perfectly balanced and simply divine. Dessert was a decadent combination of chocolate cake with ice cream and Tartufo—an indulgent and satisfying end to the meal. All in all, it was an exceptional dining experience, and we can't wait to return!

We've been to Blue 10's of times since they opened. its a great place for 2 or 10. The staff is top notch. The drinks are unique and consistently good. The food is perfect for the place and always well prepared. The price point is higher than pub food, but its not a pub and the food is way better. Take your not-Staten Island friends there on a summer Saturday or Sunday and get a water side table. Drinks and appetizers are a perfect way to enjoy the view and the afternoon.

As always the food was good and consistently so. Service was not so wonderful tonite but adequate. Good value for the money. They haven't gone crazy with the prices. Parking is limited in their lot but plentiful on the street. The river view is quite spectacular and makes up for deficiencies.
