Went here because reviews were good but I wasn't impressed with their food. I ordered seafood risotto and it was just okay. The waitress would bring the food and before we could even taste she would just ask how is everything? Weird!! You have to give people five minutes to get to taste the food before you can actually ask if everything was ok. The only thing that may be good and worth spending the money was the view in summer. I was not impressed with this place.
My experience at Blue is always amazing. We finally got seating near the window with the great view of the water and the ships going by. The restaurant was decorated with Christmas lights, tree and a snow man. It was just magical. As always, the manager Jeff and staff are always pleasant!
Delightful ambiance with holiday theme setting. Food was very good, enjoyed by all in my party.
The food and view of the bay were very good. The kitchen was a little slow with dinner. The service was good. Blue definitely has the best baked clams and fresh scallops I have ever had The food is fresh and seasoned perfectly. The service was good, all work as a team so your needs are always addressed. Reserving a table was very easy on “Open Table”. I was running late for my reservation and I called the restaurant. Kate answered and was extremely pleasant, advising me not to worry. I go to Blue every other Saturday and it has never disappointed me.
My all time favorite restaurant on Staten Island. Always very accommodating for a party of two or a family gathering of ten.
Exceptional experience. World class food and top notch staff. I was celebrating a special event and Jeff went above and beyond to accommodate. Thank you!
Lovely restaurant overlooking the water. The food was good and decently priced. The only problem was parking. The lot is small.
Blue was an unexpected pleasure. Sat by the outside windows. Watched as the sky turned from day to a lit up night with many big tug boats and barges passing us by. It was beautiful. You'd never think a person would say beautiful because it's a very industrial view. However, somehow the movement and activity on the water, on an early Friday evening, was mesmerizing. Loved it. My friend told me that “back in the day” the restaurant was called Tugs. How appropriate. Oh the food and the place was great too, lol.
Blue never disappoints! The food is terrific and it's the perfect place to bring out of town guests. You feel like you are dining outside while being enclosed with glass, and watching the tugs and barges is always interesting. It's one of our favorite restaurants on Staten Island!
Great experience having a business dinner here. We sat in a private area away from the noise and the service and food was 10/10. Will be back for future events.

Blue is fantastic restaurant for entire meal and ambiance. From appetizers to the main course to the huge cargo ships and tug boats going by, this has become my favorite restaurant on Staten Island! Octopus, baked claims, thai calamari, lamb meatballs all terrific and thats just appetizers. All of it just delicious!
Not only am I traumatized by my experience at Blue Restaurant, but I am also horrified by how my family and I were treated. From the moment we walked in — me, my Black husband, and our biracial child — something felt off. It was as if our presence was unwelcome. We were seated and began our meal quietly, when suddenly the staff came over to complain about my child being “disruptive.” Let me be clear — my child was simply being a child. There was a white family seated nearby with a child who was just as loud, yet nothing was said to them. The double standard was glaring. When I tried to calmly address this with our waitress, she echoed the manager’s stance, making it clear that they both shared the same attitude. The entire situation was humiliating and left us feeling completely unwelcome. This restaurant claims to be “family-friendly,” yet our experience was anything but. The way we were singled out and treated differently because of our family’s racial makeup was deeply painful. I left feeling disrespected, shaken, and horrified. If one of the owners happens to read this, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to discuss what happened and how traumatic this experience was. You can reach me at [email protected]. Sincerely, A deeply disappointed customer
Outstanding experience from cocktails to dessert! We were a party of 4 and seated by the window with a view of the water. Two of us had the salmon and two had the rack of lamb. The salmon was covered in a teriyaki sauce and served over a bed of salad that included apples and figs. Never had a better salmon dish! The service was top notch as well.
Need to lower the prices.

The food here is always on point. I arrived and had a drink at the bar. The staff was super friendly and the drink was perfectly made. The bar area was clean and as soon as clients got up from the bar, the bartender Nelson was right there cleaning up. The manager and hostess checked me in before my reservation time. They escorted me to the side room which was a first for me. The windows give you a nice scenic view of passing ships and the railroad track was cool. There is no train service that comes through. The food was amazing. I had the Thai calamari to start. Perfectly fried and seasoned and most importantly fresh. I followed with the chicken sorentino. Two nice sized chicken breasts, fresh eggplant, Italian ham, and cheese cooked in a perfect lemon butter sauce. They brought over homemade mashed potatoes perfectly plated. The waiter was very professional and it overall it was an amazing experience. I finished the night with another drink at the bar. There is plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are maintained and clean. It's always a great experience here.
