Once we arrived we were told if you make an OpenTable reservation you are seated in the bar area. Was not expecting this nor informed when making reservations- would have called for reservations otherwise. Not sure why the restaurant uses the app if reservations are not treated the same.
We don't mind the cost of going over the Verrazono for dinner. Bocelli's is somewhere special. Our server Franco makes the evening great. Tuesday is 1/2 price wine and our meal was great, with excellent service.
We had a family party upstairs and I can't say enough good things. Everything about Bocelli is top notch, from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. A big thank you to our servers, Sylvia and Eric, and bartender Paul, as well as GM Rob Hanley and Chef Stefano for making our night so special and memorable!
