We had rez for 7 ppl, table set for 6, I corrected it myself. No server for 10t minutes. Took drink order, some things incorrect or missing. Ordered apps, clearly heard by others at table, then entrees a few minutes later. Close to 1/2 hr goes by, no apps (2 pizzas, salad) but entrees come out...ugh. Ask server what happened, makes excuses, offers to buy us a pizza for table because we're starving and wasn't sending back our mains. Did I mention my wife hit in head by plate during service š¤..ugh again Food good, only highlight, cause during cleanup, plates cleaned sporadically, and my wife got hit again, this time with food! Ordered some dessert, okay, but nothing else comped for this sad service. Assuming they were short handed, place was steady but not crazy like a weekend or mothers day crowd. Have been to Lunas locations many times, this was disappointing š

Update: 2nd time a bug was food in our takeout food and itās the same type of bug. The first time was a hot summer month so we gave them a pass, but there is no excuse now as itās February. This used to be our favorite place but Iām now extremely concerned about food safety. I feel bad leaving a negative review because we have always supported this restaurant throughout the years, but I hope they take this seriously and fix their cleanliness issue. We wonāt be ordering again until this place is scrubbed clean..
We go to Cafe Luna every week and it never disappoints. Best Italian food on Staten Island!! The rigatoni alla vodka and eggplant rollatine are amazing!

Loosing cafe Luna on Paige ave was tough. It was family and it was my go to! Always knowing of this, Luna on Hylan Blvd, was told to try it. It's Pretty much the same, try it! Being apprehensive I went and I'm glad I did! I'm establishing another family real fast. The pizza is outstanding. There are different flavors. Don't get me wrong but still Stella food and service. I recommend going there if you're in the same boat as me with losing out on Paige Ave Luna. Alex and his staff are fantastic! Very attentive and it's a family atmosphere. A++++

Food was good. Didn't have enough wait staff for a Saturday night. When business started to pick up visits from our waiter were few and far between. It otherwise was a good experience.

I love this restaurant and have for a while, but today the service was racist and horrible. I went here with my boyfriend tonight and we got a new server, stocky guy in his 20s with black hair it said Nuccio Alessandro on our receipt. He took 20 minutes to come over to give us drinks, then got an attitude when I said we were ready to put in our food order as well. His vibe and attitude were completely off, not like the service Iāve experienced here previously. They didnāt give us bread, I had to ask for it. This man continued to greet and converse with every other table but ours, asking them several times how their meals were. He completely ignored us, not coming over at all until it was time for the check. That took another 20 minutes. At the end I asked to get my food and the bread to go. They tossed the bread in a brown bagāno wrapping, and left out the focaccia bread, the best part. Iām Italian myself and am truly ashamed of the service we got, I believe all because of the color of my boyfriendās skin. The waiter talked down to him from the beginning and disregarded us to take care of the white costumers. I felt ashamed to introduce him to my culture for him to be treated that way with the waiter even calling him ābrother.ā Wonāt be back on a Sunday anytime soon and if I come again and see he is still working there Iāll just walk out.

The aged Negronis are absolutely delicious! I also had an amazing espresso martini . Ask for Aged Negronis made by Alessandro. Superb!!!

I was in the other night, had Dita as our waitress. She was absolutely phenomenal. Very attentive to the table and not to mention a very sweet girl. The food is as good as always. Had the calamari dorati which is my absolute favorite. Great food! Great service! Can't wait to come back.
