We recently ordered from China Chalet for catering for a family event. The fried rice and lo mein were very affordable, the walnut shrimp was crispy and sweet, and the ribs were so tender and flavorful. Everyone loved the food and kept going back for more. The presentation was great and the restaurant was accommodating. 5/5 highly recommend ordering if you need party trays for your event, especially if you need to feed a big group!

I reserved this restaurant after the burial of my brother in law about three weeks ago. We had approximately 25 people in our party and spent $600 with nice tip. The waiter was extremely rude and condescending. I grew up in Chinatown in Manhattan and I have never had a waiter so rude. My brother asked for a small cup white rice and the waiter said; No white rice! I will never come back to this restaurant.

I ordered a shrimp chow mien, which, like its name suggests is fried, but they gave me this soupy vegetable filled porridge like serving with rice. A noodle dish, that is served fried has RICE AND SOUPY VEGETABLES. I called and asked the guy and he said that chow mien doesn’t actually have noodles or whatever, I have never heard of this in my life. This place took so long to deliver even though we live so close and the other order of popcorn shrimp wasn’t even done correctly. Would not recommend.

Recently I attended a party at the restaurant and while the food was decent, the waiter service left a lot to be desired. The wait staff physically poked guests to move out of the way so they could place the dishes on the table rather and at one point a waiter began to curse because when he tried to place the dishes down. I realize this is not 5 star dining, but the behavior of the wait staff was unacceptable.

Service is very good, food is average, too much oil in the food, a dish that it was supposed to be not spicy, came extremely spicy!!! I had to return it, and they made a new one the way it was supposed to be. Clean place, prices were average.
