One of my favorite places on Staten Island. Baked goods are incredible. Food is delicious, breakfast, dinner and brunch are all good . Best cappuccino and croissant outside of Italy. Love Bruna And John they are great and so welcoming . I don’t get here often but when my husband get a chance to go it’s a real treat. Expensive, but you are paying for quality and flavor. New location is really nice

Food was good but I can not justify the crazy high prices. Cost about $40 each pasta dish and for those prices I expect to be in a restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The photos online didn’t look anything like the ones on google. Felt like a casual cafe rather than fine dining.

A hidden gem on Staten Island! Every dish is prepared with the utmost attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients are second to none. The staff is welcoming and wonderful and they truly make dining there such a pleasant experience.

Dolce fantasia is the BEST restaurant in Staten Island! I leave Manhattan for this place because it is truly an amazing experience. You must come hungry because the lasagna is 20 ounces —and it’s incredible. Bruna, the owner, is from north Italy and is the most lovely woman and cousin Vinny is so hospitable. I can’t say enough good things about DF. Thank you for a great time!

Stopped on the way through randomly. Small authentic Italian restaurant! The full menu wasn't available but we still stayed. We are GLAD we made that decision. Everything from the coffee to the panini to the dessert was INCREDIBLE. If you find yourself in SI, do not skip this spot!

Italy is my favorite place to travel to. I have been there more times than any other country. The authenticity of this place made me feel like I walked into a restaurant in Italy. They even had gelato and a wonderful espresso machine. The pasta was homemade!!! And absolutely delicious. We also had the eggplant Parm appetizer and a salad. They have an amazing wine list for such a modest place. A must try!

FOOD [5/5]: Upon sitting down we were told that there would be no dish modifications allowed (aside from certain dietary restrictions) as the chef has prepared everything the "true" North Italian way. At that moment I knew that we were in for a tasty treat. This place takes it's food seriously and is a hidden gem in the area for authentic Italian food. The Gnocchetti and the Rigatone de Bruna were exquisite - a warm hug on a rainy day. The tiramisu was one of the best I've had and the cappuccino was solid.SERVICE [5/5]: Service was outstanding and entertaining. Very friendly!VIBE [4/5]: Very much a cozy hole in the wall. The pictures that show a large open space with black/white floor are for their second location. Dining here feels more like eating at an old mom and pop place.

Absolutely amazing this is the best food in Staten Island. The lobster bisque, I usually skip because for the most part it’s hit or miss but it’s to die for here. And honestly, I didn’t even order it I just tried it from someone s dish in my party here. It’s delicious. For my ordering the handful of times I’ve come here, (and make no mistake this is definitely going to be a regular spot for me pushing out the local take out scene), (wait I have more to add- this is worth getting off my couch and coming here instead of sitting home with take out) I have had the lamb and chicken meatballs, the gnocchi, the lemoncello, and the desserts and everything and I mean EVERYTHING here is either the trip. Get yourself here and I guarantee the experience will not disappoint. The food and the service are 5 star!

Between 4 and 5 stars actually. Pleasant, engaged service and quality, freshly prepared food. The ravioli was very good and the spaghetti with meat sauce was excellent. Would have loved if the plates were heated to keep the food hot longer. But would highly recommend.

What a wonderful hidden gem on the south shore of Staten Island. This restaurant has the feel and atmosphere of a diner while providing the most unique and appetizing food you could imagine. We started off with the carpaccio di manzo which was perfect and the baby arugula and feta cheese salad on top was the best combo. I then had the spaghetti with an osso buco meat sauce that was out of this world. The sauce is cooked for 12 hours, and you can tell from the way it tastes. My girlfriend had the Chagall risotto which was fantastic as well. It incorporates the colors that Chagall the painter commonly used in his paintings, All naturally without using any food coloring. We finished the meal with the Nutella tiramisu and a cappuccino. From the service to the food this is a top notch place that deserves to be tried. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Went to the Veteran’s Rd location today forLunch. What a treat! The ambiance was lovely and the menu was unique; not your average Italian fare. But the food!!! It was wonderful! From the salad to the entree and the dessert was Incredible. The owner and chef, John, is impressive who could Not have been more attentive and friendly. I was delighted there is another location closer to home and I will definitely return. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place came highly recommended by a friend and it’s now my new favorite spot! Originally stopped in for a quick lunch with my husband but after looking through the menu… we opted to make it more of an early dinner & dessert. Service was excellent ! On top of it all… John, the owner had sent over mouthwatering eggplant parmigiana fresh out of the oven to try. Everything was absolutely delicious & priced right for the quality !

OMG! What wonderful food!! The owner is a true chef, she knows her business. It was almost like being in Europe because she helped us order and checked on us as we were enjoying our dishes. She knows how to pace the orders so they come to the table when they're ready to be eaten rather than under heat lamps waiting. One dish was better than the other. The wine was great too.

We’ve been here a few times now for dinner, take out pastries & cappuccinos and today for brunch. It’s always awesome! The food style is Northern Italian, everything is baked fresh, and they source seasonal ingredients. ?? It’s a small cosy place with about 3 -4 tables inside. You can also sit outside when weather permits.Their portions are normal so you walk out feeling great, not like you’re ready to explode. ? For brunch we had the French Toast (light & crispy with berries on top) and the Carcofi and Fungi omelettes. The omelette are baked in a skillet and perfectly seasoned. They are made to order (we actually heard eggs being cracked in the back) ?We also had a regular milk, almond milk and Nutella cappuccinos. Everything was amazing! As far as service, Bruna is always upbeat and happy. She is clearly passionate about food. So happy to find a high quality restaurant in Staten Island! ????
