Overall, i thought the food was ok. Had the Pappardelle with Mushrooms which they say is one of their signature dishes. It was basically a thick cheesy Alfredo sauce with only traces of mushroom pieces and the pasta was bland. Had the meatballs which were nothing special and the Zucchini Flower Blossoms which were a fancy (pricey) mozzarella stick. Per the service, it was spotty and nothing special. The restaurant is very loud which is primarily due to the size of the dining area (small). Was really hoping it would be better especially given all of the very good reviews. Unfortunately, I cant say the same.

Recommended to us, which we are glad for - as we would have never walked in on our own. Visited for a late lunch. The entire menu is dynamic and unique. The portion sizes are small by NY standards but were how we really should eat - reminiscent of how it is in Italy.The 17yr old waitress we had was extremely professional, attentive & overall very pleasant.The thing I would comment on is the ambiance (think ice cream shop (way too bright) lighting and diner type furnishings) does not match the high quality of their food.We had one glass of wine, a soda, beef carpaccio appetizer, truffle gnocchi & osso bucco, one dessert & a cup of tea. $160 after tip.Would return to try other entrees for the delicious food & great service. Just not as a romantic dinner or celebration, solely because of the lighting & decor.

Food was good. Took forty minutes to get our appetizer though. Service was ok. Girls were nice but I had to order cappuccino twice. Cappuccino was excellent though. No ice with the water. Had to ask for ice and they didn’t understand but eventually we got the ice. All the pastas were delicious and sandwich was great. The bread they brought was fresh and the spicy tomato/red pepper oil dip was lovely. Definitely a place to try but be a little forgiving with the service. Good people, great food and drink.

The food was delicious, we had a buratta appetizer with a creamy truffle sauce, one of my friends expressed her disdain for fish, we were assured there was no fish on the dish, it came with caviar, I was very pleased, she wasn't. After a good chuckle we gave her the side that didn't have any caviar, she was ok with that. The rest of the food was on point. The service was great so was the coffee and desserts. We had a nice time. It was rather pricy. I understand it is expensive to provide quality food but 45 dollars for an entree was rough. The dishes are unique and tasty. I've been to Italy multiple times, it is reminiscent. I don't think anything can actually top eating in Italy. This was close.
