My fiance picked up some food for us and it was absolutely wonderful. He had the pig feet stew over rice and I had the pork and rice. The pork was tender and seasoned so well. The rice and peas were delicious. This was my first visit to NY and I will definitely be back next time.

Nice place. The food was delicious and authentic. I had the pigs feet stew over rice two nights in a row. They also have a lot of other dishes to choose from. You stand in line and pick out what you want and they fix the plate for you. Kind of buffet style. You can see the food that you want and get the cuts you want. Very special place.Parking: Parking lot is small, but I had no problems finding parking both times I went.

I’ve been going to several spanish restaurants in staten island and this has been the worst one. Food tastes terrible and is also too expensive!
Went there recently for food when it first opened for my group home. The pork was so dry it was very hard to chew or eat we threw it away. There was no juice in the pans of pork you would think it just opened for the day the food would be on point. The customer service was terrible. They might want to get at least one person that understands English. Rice was bland and beans as well. I been coming here for so time and not sure if the cooks changed. But that trip was my last. The one in new Brighton is way better and cheaper.

Food is good but man I just paid 27 bucks for two filets of fish and rice? El Pollo for that money would feed two and then some and the food is better. Just way too pricey for an extra piece of fish on the plate.

I went in there today and I’m not sure if this had anything to do with my race (I’m a black woman) but I was overlooked twice and they tried to serve someone else that happen to look more like them (Hispanic). The women did this to me while standing in line for them to take my order and while standing in line to pay. It was so bad that the gentleman had to point to me to say I was next, when she called over to him to take him next.I don’t know what kind of madness is this but I will not patronize any establishment that doesn’t respect black ppl and considering Dominicans are mixed with black themselves they should be ashamed of themselves for this type of behavior. There was no good reason why they wouldn’t have known I was next. I do not need to come here. Actually, I prefer my own culture’s food (English speaking Caribbean). We got good food, well flavored without being overly salty. Treat people better.
