Great ice cream
Love this place because you can actually sit down and enjoy your ice cream. The young ladies working were very sweet. Prices are reasonable for portion size. They have a parking lot.
I have many happy memories at this place when my kids were little (early 2000s). I was in the area recently and it seems to be a little bit in decline but I am sure it is still a kids delight!
I have to edit this because Eggers has gone down hill dramatically. The charm is gone, the service has unfortunately also taken a hit. I’ve tried to give it more and more chances but every time it’s been consistently disappointing.
The chocolate chocolate chip doesn’t even taste like chocolate. Imagine eating a whipped cream type of fake sugar ice cream.
Way too many corners cut or items that were changed that have caused this amazing historical and charming ice cream parlor to turn into a place that will lose customers.
A trip down memory lane for me. I haven't been there in 10 years. Mom and I had junior banana splits. 2 scoops, a banana, one topping, whipped cream, and a cherry. It was plenty for us. Their ice cream is so good.
Best ice cream parlor in Staten Island by far!
Old time soda fountain service and candy store.
GREAT ICE CREAM CAKES !
Why are there always 7 people running around behind the counter but moving in slow motion? It always takes at least 3 years to take my order. 4 out the last 5 times I ordered a chocolate and vanilla malted, it was just a chocolate and vanilla shake...hence why I go in person, but it's still wrong sometimes. I will be back (just not as much as I'd like bc the experience sucks), I will continue to get annoyed, but if we just improve on the little things we can turn this gem of a place from a 6/10 to a 10/10 AND people will decide to come more often than choose other places instead.

We had a delightful afternoon at the igloos in Snug Harbor. From our amazingly server Cody (hi Cody!) to the delicious ice cream, beautiful setting and sweet activities for my children, every thing was perfect. The Christmas crunch ice cream was delicious, and it was the best hot chocolate I have ever had. We will definitely be back in the summer, and looking forward to the igloos next year. Such a fu and family friendly holiday experience!
Walked in an hour before closing, the restaurant stated they had no hot chocolate and that the cappuccino machine broke?
You just need espresso for it and warm milk nonetheless should put up a sign covering all beverages aren’t available not even coffee.
Close an hour earlier if they don’t want to serve.

Kayla is the best! What a welcoming presence to walk in as a first impression.
I’ve been coming to Egger’s since single digits and the quality remains the same! This place is a staple from childhood to now and everything-in-between. The coffee ice cream is a MUST try. The cookies are great and the melted marshmallow!
Thank you, Eggers and team. Thank you, Kayla!!!
