Great food, staff, and energy at this place. I had a party of 2 and tried walking in knowing how popular the place is, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating and was able to seat us the within 20 minutes. Food was very flavorful and comforting. Would absolutely recommend if you’re in the area or even had a long commute there- its worth it. Bring cash as thats what they accept!

It is super rare for me to give five stars, especially to a restaurant that is not considered fine dining.
But I rate the Restaurant for what it really is.
This is an excellent restaurant. The experience is fantastic and the food is superb. The service leaves nothing to be needed by the customer. Special attention is given to every plate and every single customer from the owner to the waitress to the way the food is prepared.
The owner Joe is very personable and approachable. Although he is busy as heck running the restaurant he still will take time to say hi.
Highly recommended and because of menu changes almost daily is impossible to recommend anything specific, but I will say anything we ate at this restaurant was superb!

It felt like you were at a home with family. The nonna's were greeting veryone at the table. The host squeexed me in at the last moment. I was very grateful. The food option was awesome. Trinadad and Tobigo food (oxtail, curry chicken and butternut squash soup). Yummy!!!

Everything was delicious, but the Italian Nonna's lasagne was the star. Also the wine was really tasty and when she saw we chose it, she said it was her favourite and did a little cha cha cha. The vibes are immaculate, the food is great, the concept is beautiful, and we can’t wait to visit again. Nonna was super kind and went around chatting to all the tables.

Amazing
We watched the movie about three months ago and casually said, “we have to visit.” And it truly manifested! Nonna’s of the World did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our Sri Lankan nonna was so sweet. The food she prepared was authentic, hearty, and full of love. We even got to take a picture with the owner, which made the experience extra special. A beautiful place that feels like home. Highly recommended!

Hi everyone~ this place requires reservations.. they have to ~ they are incredibly busy and only open 2 days a week 🙏
As others have said, you can try to call~ but like many family restaurants, all hands are on deck so you take your chances.
The two best ways are to stop by, or use the WhatsApp,
It's not hard, but it can be time-consuming....find a youngster to show you if you don't know 💛 but wait till they answer.. if they don't confirm through the Whatsapp, you don't have a reservation yet. Sometimes they are weeks to months in advance. It's just because they're so busy. If you show up and take your chances, you may be lucky or you may be disappointed~ but if you cannot get served, or if you're angry because you don't understand why you cannot have that empty table (guarantee you it's reserved), then please don't leave a bad review. 🙏 Keep trying, do the What'sApp thingy, and keep trying... and when you get there, just taste the food before you judge. When you get to see a Nona, it just might make your day. I know how much I miss my grandmother~ and I would go to the WhatsApp or walk by or call repeatedly or do whatever I could to see her and taste her cooking one more time..
Bless you~ good luck, and bless all the Nonnas. 💛🕯️💛
Had been looking to book this restaurant since early this year. Emailed two months before visiting NY but advised they were fully booked for months ahead. Got the ferry over to Staten Island today and thought we’d try our luck…turns out we got lucky and they managed to give us a table. So hospitable, greeted so kindly and one of the wee Nona’s taking the time to speak to everyone was brilliant….all staff so welcoming and food was delicious. Thank you Nona’s of the world

On my list to visit
Exceptional service in a small, but lovely restaurant where warmth and care are abundant. Our meal was well-prepared (meatballs and lasagna) and absolutely delicious and nicely presented.

The food was comfortable and felt homemade, just like going home to family. Even better than the food was the ambiance, Nona's talking to us a few times and clearly creating the food. I felt welcome and couldn't stop smiling. Very glad we went. Tip: Get a reservation
