If you’re looking for a meal that tastes like home like sitting at your grandmother’s table with true Italian flavor this is the place to go. These ingredients come straight from the heart, and the service is amazing!!

Service is amazing, very friendly and attentive + classic Italian. We went while Abuelita Rosa was in the kitchen from Peru.
Focaccia with red onion and pickled veg was To Die For. I don’t normally like octopus/squid because of its getting chewy when it isn’t fresh. That being said, the ceviche with octopus, shrimp, and cod was fresh and absolutely delicious. 10/10 best meatball ever had, flavorful, texture was surprisingly smooth. This food is expertly prepared, cooked, and served.
Delicious and authentic dishes, wonderful and whimsical atmosphere, a bit crowded but nothing out of the norm for NYC area/historic buildings. Loved sitting at the bar to watch the magic happen in the kitchen. A great experience for anyone looking for high class home cooking, or if you’re a long way from home/missing your nana like I am.
Cash-only, a little pricey, reservation only, fills up fast.

A very nice small place. Food and service were very good. I love the concept. They always offer their regular menu in addition to specials cooked up by a guest star "nonna".

The cutest most amazing restaurant! The Nonnas make your food for you! Can’t get any more authentic then that! The food is absolutely delicious! You can order anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed! It’s a cozy little spot maybe about 25 seats in the restaurant. Definitely need to make reservations! We hopped on the SI Ferry just to come to this place.

Always wanted to try this little place. Finally did! Very cozy and welcoming. The house "Nonna" is the cutest, most pleasant lady. And her meatballs are incredible. The concept her is really nice. We had a house menu, Japanese Nonna, or Mexican Nonna to choose from. All of the dishes were great.

I really enjoyed my experience and I felt really at home. I could feel the hominess with the presence of the Italian nonna. My table got the rabbit and pasta and meatballs. Everything was cooked to perfection. The owner and our server was very kind. Make a reservation, cash only. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Enoteca Maria is a great restaurant with an awesome concept: Rotating "nonnas" in the kitchen making meals from around the world. The restaurant has mainstays on the menu for Italian (and it appears Japanese for now as well), and the rotating chef for us was Nonna Habiba from Algeria. It was a great opportunity to try foods we don't normally get to eat, and everything Habiba made was fantastic! I would definitely come back and explore more.
