I got “sex on the beach” sushi roll. It was really good for someone who doesn’t eat sushi often. However, the rock shrimp and imitation crab tasted absolutely horrible. The imitation crab was so bad it made me not really wanna go here anymore. It tasted like a slim Jim out in the sun all day. Great place to go but pricyyyy so don’t go if you are broke. I’m a little disappointed considering that I paid over 100+ $ for food that was decent. Dont really recommend coming here unless you just plan on getting regular sushi.

Ordered delivery which supposed to arrive in 40 minutes. NEVER got my order. Called restaurant 2 times . They were not able to provide any updates and couldn’t reach driver. Hope I can get refund for it.it is not service you expected from high end sushi place.

This place was not what i was thinking it was,, seen this place many times and never been. I enjoyed it the place was spacious and the inside was so nice and relaxing. Food was really good. Had a Pina cold that was good as well. Parking was good more of the street parking.

I recently ordered sushi from Fushimi (2110 Richmond Road, Staten Island) and was extremely disappointed. I found what appeared to be a parasite or foreign object in the raw fish, which raised serious concerns about food safety. When I tried to contact the restaurant about this, the staff was absolutely not responsive and could not communicate clearly in English. I asked to speak with the manager, but they refused to provide the manager’s phone number and eventually hung up on me. This is completely unacceptable. I have reported the incident to the Department of Health and hope appropriate action will be taken. I strongly urge the restaurant to improve its food safety practices and customer service.

Annie took care of us. She was so excellent. Fast, attentive, sweet and kind and genuinely provided a great experience. Place is always great really. I never had a bad bite. Fushimi gets it right every time. Thank you guys and thank you Annie!

Food was good but we kept swapping away gnats it turned us off we mentioned it to one of the servers and we received I'm sorry, don't be sorry be more proactive in keep the restaurant bug free controlling gnats is easy no reason for a restaurant to have them. We lost our appetite after that. We left more than 1/2 of the food which was a shame because it was good and pricey. Won't come back here I'm afraid to think of what's in the kitchen where I can't see.
