Took very long for my waitor to come and took extremely long for my food to come and it wasn’t even as busy. i didn’t feel welcomed at all and especially for the amount of money i spent the waitor was very rude

It’s a beautiful atmosphere with a very peaceful outdoor siting area. Food was great and on time. We got the fig martini… ABSOLUTELY amazing. My boyfriend and I enjoyed everything about the place. And Emily with her warm smile and on point service makes the whole experience even better

First time for us and we were very impressed, although it was an event night with a DJ, making for an abbreviated menu. The food was excellent regardless and it was the first time in a while since my very picky wife raved about the marinara sauce on the zappa de pesce. We will be back on a non-event night when we can choose from the full menu

extremely noisy past closing late into the night. refuse to speak to you on the phone if you call to complain about noise, say they will transfer you to the owner and hang up seconds after.

The food was delicious and the waiter was very courteous and attentive. My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time. I tried their Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and OMG it was delicious. I can't wait to go back.

Cute inside decor, very friendly waitress. Not crazy prices. $75pp w tax n tip n 2 drinks each Apple martini was ok, it was pink which was weird. We had Italian nachos, interesting n tasted good. We also had zucchini flowers, an app special, delicious! I had squid ink rigatoni pescattore. Delicious! It was a special, glad I tried it. Good portion size. I recommend n I would def go back!

So happy I finally tried Gio's! My sister lives in the neighborhood and every time she's tried to take me they've been closed. It's her go-to spot and for good reason -- the menu is huge with with all of the Italian classics and everything we ordered was fabulous. I had the house special pasta, fusilli gio. The dish comes topped with prosciutto, sausage and spinach and is tossed in a light garlicky sauce. The pasta is cooked perfectly al dente. Pasta dishes are around $20 and portions are pretty generous. Service was speedy and friendly and the space is very sleek and modern. There is also an outdoor patio so this would be a nice spot to revisit in summer. For solid Italian eats you can't go wrong!

My family and I came here after my father in-laws memorial service, and the food and service were amazing. The owner came and sat with us and asked us about him, and he went out of his way to bring his favorite meal and drink for us to share. Totally recommend the Italian nachos and calamari for apps. The Saccotitini Di Parma is to die for. Will definitely be back.

Recently dined at Gino’s in Eltingville. Food was superb, (try the veal chop ) service was outstanding, excellent drinks & their upscale menu separates them from other restaurants. The newly renovated atmosphere was amazing with Sinatra & Martin singing in the background. Five (5) stars for Gio’s!!!!!! Definitely make them your next stop for Dinner. Nick & Debbie.
