Growing up on Staten Island my Dad went every week for rolls, crunch donuts and Charlotte Russe. They were the best! That was over 50 years ago and I now live in Bayonne. I was on Staten Island recently and stopped in to buy some Charlotte Russe to introduce them to my granddaughters. The staff was friendly and courteous. They no longer make crunch donuts 😢 and the Charlotte Russe are half the size they used to be, but still a delicious treat. My granddaughters loved...
Mid at best. I got a crumb cake for the holidays and it was so-so. Then I tried again and recently bought a crumb cake that was not fresh, it was remarkably thin and didn't taste all that good. I would say not worth the calories, If I was going to a party and brought one of their crumb cakes I would have been embarrassed. No reason for me to go back, I guess crumb cake isn't their thing.
I found this Gem recently thanks to Whoopi,my first time here i purchased a black and white cake,a blueberry pie and a pumpernickel bread,all excellent quality and very fresh,i will be coming back for sure!!
