this place is an absolute gem. Obviously the decor is amazing tiki-style, but the food was SO good and the drinks as well! You can find classic tiki drinks like don the beachcomber's zombie and the chi chi, as well as retro desserts like jello and ice cream. The service was great as well and we could not have had a better experience.

They fell off. The rice is mushy. The egg rolls are extremely greasy and they get annoyed if you ask for extra duck sauce. Not the same.

This was my first time ordering from jade island. The food has no taste the spare ribs were microwave. I ordered vegetable roast pork egg fu young. No taste, no vegetable except for onion, and the pork was horrible. It had a taste of warmed up pork. This place is very expensive $$ and for the price the quality of the food is disgusting. The owner was very nasty when I called to tell them. He did nothing and hung up in my face. Be aware 45.00 for 2 combination platers and it's went in the gararge!

This used to be one of my regular spots back in the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. Haven't been here in about 25 years. The decor is exactly as the same as it was back in the day. I don't mean the same motif, I mean it's like exactly the same stuff in here as it was 40 years ago lol. And that isn't a bad thing, the place looks awesome. Food was very good, as it has always been here. The food came out shockingly fast, and was fresh and flavorful.
