this place is an absolute gem. Obviously the decor is amazing tiki-style, but the food was SO good and the drinks as well! You can find classic tiki drinks like don the beachcomber's zombie and the chi chi, as well as retro desserts like jello and ice cream. The service was great as well and we could not have had a better experience.
This used to be one of my regular spots back in the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. Haven't been here in about 25 years. The decor is exactly as the same as it was back in the day. I don't mean the same motif, I mean it's like exactly the same stuff in here as it was 40 years ago lol. And that isn't a bad thing, the place looks awesome. Food was very good, as it has always been here. The food came out shockingly fast, and was fresh and flavorful.
I was there about a week and a half ago the service was moderate we had spare ribs that was very good fried rice cold how to send it back to suit came out cold very disappointed not like it used to be my name is IRA lived in the neighborhood over 30 something years
