Very very good food and affordable but, there’s a guy with glasses with a hat and tattoos he’s nasty I went to order a sandwich he’s throwing stuff and trash on the floor very unsanitary and asked him to cut the sandwich small and with an attitude he told me “u want me to shred it” very nasty I doubt with him before he’s very nasty.

I am absolutely disgusted with this Jersey Mike’s location. I come in often with my grandkids, and every single time recently it has gotten worse. The staff members are clearly under the influence of marijuana while on the job and completely unfocused. Instead of actually working, they stand around talking the entire time, and the conversations they choose to have are not anything I want my grandson or granddaughter hearing. Completely inappropriate topics, zero professionalism, and absolutely no awareness of customers around them. I have tried to give this place multiple chances, but I’m done. I will never be stepping foot in this location again, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone. Total disappointment.

It’s clear that three people are working, and one of them has clearly just started—I can definitely be understanding about that. However, after waiting 20 minutes for my order, one of the team members went on break. Then the more experienced staff member said, “Our colleague went to get more lettuce, we’re out at the moment we’ll have to keep you waiting a bit longer, we apologize.” Thank you for the apology.

I walked into Jersey Mike’s on Hylan today—cold, soaked, starving, borderline feral. I ordered a giant #13, extra meat, Mike’s Way, with bacon. This wasn’t just a sandwich. It was a life raft. A beacon. A greasy miracle.
But as I took that first glorious bite, I slipped on the rainwater I tracked in, fell hard, and started choking on the sandwich that was supposed to save me.
Enter Jannah—employee, hero, possibly angel. She sprinted from behind the counter like an action movie star, performed the Heimlich like a seasoned pro, and saved me from a deli-meat demise.
As I caught my breath, I looked up at her—rain glistening off the windows, sandwich still in my hand, dignity in tatters—and whispered, “Thank you… a sub above.”
Never underestimate the power of a #13 or the grace of a Jersey Mike’s hero. Especially on Hylan. Especially in the rain.
