I had the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had in NYC here today. The potato salad was also pretty good. You can tell by the smell when you walk in that these guys know what they're doing. they know what they do well and they stick to it.

unfortunately this location is not the same, the flavor of the gravy is now a watered down box mix very clearly not the same nostalgic almost black rich with flavor gravy i was expecting … i was very disappointed i hope the other original locations haven’t changed but this location was a no for me im sorry 😢

Parking: This parking lot often gets busy. I usually park on the side street right before the lot.

This is the original and real John’s Deli! The others are just imitations! If you want the REAL THING this is the spot! The best roast beef with their secret gravy and mozzarella and onions might be their signature sandwich but they’re have daily specials each day of the week and I recommend trying them all! The owner Rob is a gentleman! Check out their locations on 13th Ave and Smith St in Brooklyn also!
