Been driving past this place for almost 47 years. Finally got around to trying it. Wasn't crowded. No wait for a table, but we were there a little early for a Saturday (5 pm). Snagged one of the very limited parking spots. If you don't like to be rushed then you will love this place. Bread and breadsticks were a good start. Their Raviolis are the largest I have ever seen! Linguine Carbonara was good. Wine was ok. Coffee was ok. Cheesecake cones could have been better....
Honesty, this place is one of the greatest Italian restaurant I have ever tasted. The food is simply immaculate. The antipasti tasted like pure heaven, and along with the clams it was to DIE for. Heavily Recommend.
Nice neighborhood spot. We attended a bereavement dinner after a 3 hour struggle with rush hour traffic. Restaurant parking lot was full and after exploring the neighborhood I eventually found a parking space. If we lived on Staten Island we would probably enjoy coming here regularly. In spite of our ordeal we enjoyed our meal. By the way, our drive back home to Long Island was only 1 hour and 10 minutes.
