Had dinner for a retirement get together. I walked in and they were very busy and packed. I’ve lived on SI for years and this was my first time. Told the gentlemen I was meeting a party, he said go straight to the back. It would I have been a nice touch to be escorted there. We were 13 and decided to do appetizers family style. We shared the Mozzarella en Carozza, Eggplant Rollatini, and Fried Calamari. They were good. I personally liked the eggplant the best. We all ordered our own dinner. I opted for the Red Snapper Livornese. It was really good. I also got a taste of the Veal Sorrento which was a table favorite as well. It was a good experience. I will go back.

We love it here! I got the eggplant parm over spaghetti with marinara sauce and it is the best around! Friendly staff and a nice, warm atmosphere. We sat by one of the fireplaces. The cappuccino was amazing too. Always a wonderful experience!

Grew up NJ, made a life and family in PA. My “brother” recommended this restaurant when we visited him in SI. So so good. Good Italian is difficult to come by. Restaurants try to duplicate the flavor but miss the mark with either poor, processed ingredients or poor ratio of seasonings. This place was on point and I was so pleased. Hope to return again in the future.

Been going to La Strada for many years and can’t say enough good things. Jimmy, Marco , James and Mike (the bartender, lol) are fantastic host and great people. The food is consistently some of the best Italian food out there. Service , ambience and great bar make it a well rounded night out for two or 60 people. Forty years serving the island so they are doing it right. Thanks guys for always taking care of me and my family.

Fantastic food. Portions vary from plate to plate. Some generous, some smaller. When I first was ordering their tiramisu is was double the size. I can't complain though. Each dish I order is delicious. I know I order frequently, for me to continuously order from the same restaurant and being a foodie, means that the business has quality.

They say in order to be successful restaurant you need consistency well la strada is that no matter what nothing changes here it’s consistent. The food is spot on always , been coming here since i was a kid grew up in this place some of the originals know me 30 plus years here and i love coming back time after time. Hands down the best
Ordered through door dash two days in a row. Great portions, fantastic food. Everything had a distinct unique taste. I've been to Italian restaurants in Brooklyn and Manhattan, I feel this supercedes any other restaurant I've been to. My orders both days were within thirty minutes or so, and I'm close by, but not close enough to have my extravagant amount of food ordered and delivered. Everything is packed neatly so it won't spill. Both days they included a salad and Italian bread. Fresh food and nice portions.
