We just got back from Lava and had a wonderful experience. Mario is an absolute Gem and Tommy was also great!!! The food was phenomenal and so were the drinks!!! The Ambiance is amazing along with the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much to your entire staff!!!

Food was cold but probably would have been good hot and we were seated in the "outside room." Went there in the summer and the AC was broken....but apparently the heat doesnt work in the winter!! A kid party was going on during a Sunday brunch which was a little odd drinking and seeing toddlers over your shoulder.... Drinks were good.

Where do I begin? We had a bday dinner at 8:30 and weren't served food till 10. Still charged $70 family style for about 10 bites of food, terrible tasting drinks and rude waiters. I was even accidentally hit in the face by one of them.. The food was mediocre and we were still starving afterwards. Music was okay, the bar was ridiculously crowded and we had no water at the table..

I celebrated my birthday here thinking I was gonna have an amazing time.. I didn't. It was my first time at Lava and I heard they do birthday's really nice so I was excited to book the reservation. The service wasn't great, the waiter was rude so it sucks that the tip is included in the bill because he didn't deserve the $280 tip that he got. The food was good, nothing spectacular. Music was way too loud, nobody could hear eachother and our heads were pounding, our ears were ringing even the morning before. I've been to many clubs/lounges and that has never happened before. There was a fight in the bathroom, the floor was so crowded you couldn't even walk and some lady threw up in the middle of the floor. For the amount of money we paid, I would've chose any other place on the island.. it's not worth the money.

Our first time experience at this restuarant was a very memorable experience as the food was beyond our expectations, the atmoshere of the resturant was great and the service from our waiter Emanuelle was excellent. We will definitely be returning to this returant in the very near future.

Was there yesterday for a birthday party. Although the food was tolerable, the drink I was served tasted nothing like what was ordered. An Old Fashioned was served in a wine glass. The place was packed to the fullest. So the actual table that we were sitting at was literally taken apart as soon as the bill was paid to make space for the dance floor. The guests at the table were not given a chance to finish their dessert. I have never seen such inconsiderate service. Huge disappointment. Save your money- go enjoy someplace else.
Food is excellent and very fresh. Had a wonderful brunch, everything was exquisite. The music was just a little too loud but, they did their best to accommodate us at a quiter table. Totally enjoyed it, will recommend.

I was told about this place by my brother. Was not far from there shopping for floor tiles and decided to go in for lunch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Nice ambience for a date night. The service was great, very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The drinks and food was the best part of this experience. For drink we ordered the Honey Fig Martini...it was absolutely delicious and sexy. We started with the Calamari Jalea...the green sauce that comes with it was orgasmic. I even put the green sauce on the crust bread that we got even before we ordered. The spread that came with r bread was good too but the green sauce was just delightful. I had the grilled octopus with salad, it was perfectly cooked, very tender and tasty. My lunch partner had the skirt steak, again perfectly cooked, very tender and tasty. Lunched was topped off with a piece of Tiramisu which was truly amazing, smooth and light. I will definitely recommend and will be returning. I can't wait.
