Visited alone to try the pizza and watch some of the Jets game - the former was delicious and the latter disheartening. My fellow diners and the bartender were all remarkably welcoming of a non-islander and even gave me a free Jets x Captain Morgan can which I used as a cup for a year. They might have handed that out just because they didn't want to associate with the Jets anymore. Who knows.
What's not to like. Such a classic SI spot. The bar full of locals, tasty bar pies and a decent selection of beer!
I was running an errand in the area and I'm not normally (or really ever in SI) this came up on a few reddit threads as a well likes SI pizza joint and it did not disappoint.
I had an anchovy and onion pie, delicious.

Simply the best thing crust pizza anywhere. We especially love the clam pie (well done) and the calamari is always tender and crisp. All the pies are great, though and the service is very friendly and efficient.
