Me and my friends just finished a run and the food and coffee was delicious. It was the perfect finish to a great morning!!

Since the gentleman barista left or hasn’t been working as often, the drink quality has been inconsistent. The cafe has excellent beans and top-tier machines, but it really takes skill to get the best results. Hopefully this feedback brings attention to managements.

I ordered a pitaya bowl with protein and they literally just poured 2huge scoops of protein powder on top of the bowl with fruit and granola under it all, it’s inedible now. They must have a kid working there by themselves who has no idea what they’re doing and thought protein was a topping. I called twice but someone keeps hanging up the phone before picking up.

I want to enjoy Main Street. I want to be able to enjoy some food, coffee, and do some work, but I’ve given it two tries and have been sorely disappointed each time. The first visit I ordered the quesadilla. The quesadilla took almost 30 minutes to prepare and when it came out it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Literally sopping wet in grease. On the second visit I ordered oatmeal and a large coffee. The coffee was luke warm and the cup was about ¾ full. I waited for the oatmeal and watched the highschooler at the counter bring wrong or missing orders to 3 separate tables before me. After waiting over a half hour for the oatmeal, I approached the teen on her phone at the counter to ask if it was coming. Apparently, they didn’t put my oatmeal order back to the kitchen. They’re literal kids, highschoolers. While I support employing teens, they need boundaries at work just like in the rest of life. They were fully distracted on their phones the whole time I was in the café. Perhaps if there were some phone policy enforcement, they wouldn’t be messing up 4 orders in 30 minutes. I even watched some of their high school friends come in and chat for a bit…then the friends went to a table and were on Snapchat with the girl behind the counter. It’s not like the café was dead…5 of the 7 tables were seated. Mayble I’ll try one more time in a few months. Hopefully the business takes the feedback before then.

Consistently terrible service. Long waits due to inattention of staff, non communicative, disorganized, poor attitude. Although the location is nice, it’s just not worth coming here.

Could be a good place but the service sucks, kids who work there take too long and end up with the wrong order.

I’ve tried Main Street Coffee a few times, hoping it would get better, but every visit has been a disappointment. The latte is always cold, and even when I ordered caramel (which they charge extra for), there was none in it. The wait time is always way too long. Honestly, it’s an overhyped and overrated coffee shop nothing special at all.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been here, but it has been a while. The food has definitely gone downhill. The last time we were there, we had breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and my wife got a brownie. Nothing unusual. Food was decent. That was maybe last spring? And we had been here a few times before that. It was worth going back. No longer. It’s been several months. I totally get any price increases. But the quality? Not good. Sandwich was iffy and overly greasy. Bagel was stale. And it was like whomever slapped it together couldn’t be bothered to make sure the egg was on the sandwich instead of falling out. My wife liked the brownie the last time. So I bought us both one for a snack later. What cost me almost $10 was NOT a brownie. It was stale chocolate cake sort of like store bought Entenmann’s— but OLD. It was inedible. Really awful stuff. The best thing about this place is its location. Everything else is terrible. What happened?

JUST ONE WORKER??? the owners of this establishment do not care about their employees or the service. There’s one employee who’s extremely over whelmed, I just got here and I’m watching ppl cancel their orders bc of how long the wait is. How can you leave one person in a popular cafe like this with this volume of people?? Yeah the food and coffee is alright not consistent bc the workers are young kids that probably aren’t trained enough to run an entire coffee shop on their own. But the way the establishment treats their workers is very telling and i do not want to give my business to a place like this. I can only imagine how much they’re underpaid and over worked if the owners cared they’d have a better system in place.

Awful coffee, like the worst. And it took him 10 minutes to make two cappuccinos. We can barely taste any coffee, only burned milk. I would take my tips back if I could. Also there were a lot of flies inside

Been sick for a week, tried their homemade chicken soup, it didn't disappoint. Hot, brothy, with tons of chicken and veggies, tasty. Priced right!
I'll definitely be back!!

I got the cinnamon bun smoothie and it was all liquid like I was drinking a coffee and then the whole bottom was filled with oats it was probably the worse smoothie I’ve ever had. I asked the girl at the counter about it and she said that’s how it’s suppose to be ?

Really cute spot for a cup of coffee and/or a meal. This quaint coffee shop has a rustic charm that takes you back in time. It does not feel like all those other chain coffee spots. The coffee was high quality with lots of options and the blueberry muffin was the best I ever had (get it warmed up). Summer served us and she was so friendly, patient, and helpful. She's awesome! We can't wait to go back.

So this was my first visit to Main Street Coffee and unfortunately will be my last. I can see why people want to come and eat here, it's a nice quiet spot in historic richmond town to sit and eat. However, I could not be more disappointed. My wife and I got there around 1:15pm just looking for a little food and some coffee. The girl behind the counter was extremely overwhelmed as she had to make all the coffee orders alone and take orders from customers. We were not able to order until 1:40 which was not the worst thing. It seemed like this place prioritizes mobile orders and door dash orders. After we finally ordered we sat and waited for our coffee and food. The coffee was actually made pretty quickly and it was excellent. This is the only reason for the 1 star. After the coffee was brought out we sat outside and waited for the food. Every 10 to 15 minutes I went inside to see if the food was ready and each time there was nothing ready. I started to see multiple people who came in after us getting food and sitting and eating. Going back inside I happened to look into the kitchen to see if anything was being made and was given a dirty look by one of the workers as if I were bothering them. I will always give people the benefit of the doubt but this was a little ridiculous. After almost and hour I had to ask what was going on. The girl taking orders asked what I ordered after I told her it had been almost and hour. I showed her my receipt and she went in the back to ask if it was being made. The workers in the kitchen were sitting and eating and looked at her like she was crazy. The girl then came back obviously annoyed and was about to put the order back in. At this point it had been over an hour since I put the order in and I had to leave to make an appointment. I asked if I could just have a refund which I was then given. The only thing I was refunded was for the food. This is the problem with businesses today. There is no courtesy for anyone. They made a mistake and had my wife and I waiting over an hour with no intention to even make the food. At this point it should have been a full refund or we could have been given something for free, but there was nothing, no apology just the refunded food. I understand with the way the world is right now businesses are still hurting however it's these moments that matter most. Having a customer who just wanted to eat and was then made to wait on their mistake and acting as if they couldn't care less. Well they just lost what could have been a long time customer. It's a shame for such a nice little place but this is New York now. The customer is no longer right, in fact they dont matter, just hike up your prices and sell as much as you can.
