Came here early,10a.m.,so quiet & peaceful. The bacon,egg,cheeses croissant was freshly cooked absolutely delicious.
As it was a beautiful day, sat outside enjoying the scenery while eating this delicious breakfast. The cappuccino was perfect as well.

I came to this cafe with high expectations brcause of the location anf environment but i was incredibly disapointed. I came im around 11 in the mornin. Around this time, the cafe was packed with people, which was expected, and there was only one girl who had a weird tone working at the front Counter. I waited on the line for a good 10 minutes but I wasn’t too bothered because I understood that the worker was probably under a lot of pressure with the amount of people there. once I got to the front I ordered a iced pumpkin latte, a cinnamon roll and a brownie. It took like 15 minutes for the worker to come up to me and say that they were out of the pumpkin flavor for the latte so I ordered a different flavor.. After i received the coffee I was still waiting for my pastries which didn’t make much sense to me since the pastries were right in the display. The coffee was decent and I Continued waiting until the Same girl working at the front came up to me and asked what I was waiting for. I told her I was waiting for my brownie and cinnamon roll, she paused for a moment, said “Okay” and walked away. This Left me more confused because I didn’t understand what was taking so long, I thought “okay? Maybe they don’t serve the pastries from the display? Maybe the brownies and cinnamon rolls are being made fresh and I have to wait??” So I proceeded to wait another 35 minutes until a different worker came up to me, this time a more grown man, asked me again what I was waiting on. Of course, I told him I was waiting on my brownie and cinnamon roll.. After this, he turns to the female worker tells her what I was waiting on, and she pulls it straight out of display. Then she starts calling out for the order and I grabbed it from her and she made no acknowledgment to me having to wait an hour and a half for a brownie and cinnamon roll. Me and my brother were already incredibly irritated by this, but what made it worse was the cinnamon roll was absolutely horrible. It was probably one of the most driest, coldest, cinnamon roll that we have ever tasted. This whole experience was truly such a disappointment. The whole place is unorganized when it comes to service And the pastries are dry, not great at all.

We were walking through Historic Richmond Town, hungry, not really expecting much, and ended up at Main Street Coffee. Glad we did.

Got the chicken quesadilla, sweet potato fries, and a green tea lemonade. The quesadilla was greasy, not gonna lie, but in the way you actually want it to be. Filling, flavorful, packed. Sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. And the green tea lemonade? Didn't expect it to be that good. Refreshing, balanced, a little sweet, a little earthy. Could've had two.

The place itself just works. Old wood tables, sunlight coming through the windows, that lived-in feel you can't fake. Staff were friendly and chill, no rushing us, no overdoing it.

One of those spots that doesn't try too hard and doesn't have to. Definitely coming back.

The matcha was chalky and the coffee was watery. Took like 10 minutes to get our coffee. It is a really lovely location and building just wish the coffee was better

An adorable little cafe, quaintly hidden in Staten Island (Richmondtown) New York. Don't blink, or you will miss the door to this little old-world cafe. The aroma of freshly baked goods overwhelms you as you enter. There are tables and chairs to welcome the weary for a lovely cup of tea or a freshly brewed coffee. The cafe offers breakfasts, lunches, among its menu of delicious delicacies. My first time visiting was earlier today, I stopped by for some muffins and got the most heavenly chocolate chip, which was an easy 10/10. It was large with lots of chips, and the freshness factor was stupendous. I can't wait for my next rendezvous at this little treasure trove.

Since the gentleman barista left or hasn’t been working as often, the drink quality has been inconsistent. The cafe has excellent beans and top-tier machines, but it really takes skill to get the best results. Hopefully this feedback brings attention to managements.

I ordered a pitaya bowl with protein and they literally just poured 2huge scoops of protein powder on top of the bowl with fruit and granola under it all, it’s inedible now. They must have a kid working there by themselves who has no idea what they’re doing and thought protein was a topping. I called twice but someone keeps hanging up the phone before picking up.

I want to enjoy Main Street. I want to be able to enjoy some food, coffee, and do some work, but I’ve given it two tries and have been sorely disappointed each time. The first visit I ordered the quesadilla. The quesadilla took almost 30 minutes to prepare and when it came out it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Literally sopping wet in grease. On the second visit I ordered oatmeal and a large coffee. The coffee was luke warm and the cup was about ¾ full. I waited for the oatmeal and watched the highschooler at the counter bring wrong or missing orders to 3 separate tables before me. After waiting over a half hour for the oatmeal, I approached the teen on her phone at the counter to ask if it was coming. Apparently, they didn’t put my oatmeal order back to the kitchen. They’re literal kids, highschoolers. While I support employing teens, they need boundaries at work just like in the rest of life. They were fully distracted on their phones the whole time I was in the café. Perhaps if there were some phone policy enforcement, they wouldn’t be messing up 4 orders in 30 minutes. I even watched some of their high school friends come in and chat for a bit…then the friends went to a table and were on Snapchat with the girl behind the counter. It’s not like the café was dead…5 of the 7 tables were seated. Mayble I’ll try one more time in a few months. Hopefully the business takes the feedback before then.

Consistently terrible service. Long waits due to inattention of staff, non communicative, disorganized, poor attitude. Although the location is nice, it’s just not worth coming here.

I’ve tried Main Street Coffee a few times, hoping it would get better, but every visit has been a disappointment. The latte is always cold, and even when I ordered caramel (which they charge extra for), there was none in it. The wait time is always way too long. Honestly, it’s an overhyped and overrated coffee shop nothing special at all.
