Very disappointed been there d first time, chefs was smoking outside da restaurant wearing *working gloves* NOT food gloves order food n he prepared food with same gloves also moping dining area while food is on stove

This new place is amazing ! Definitely something Forest ave needed. Everything is fairly priced and menu is versatile. Smoothies, juices and quesadillas tasted fresh. Baklava is also perfect. They have great options and portions are just right. Outside seating is a plus.

Horrible horrible place. I saw early in the morning that this place is ordering $8 off for the first time order for order of $12 or more. I decided to make the order. Then I saw there was an item where I can only order sides for $0, I thought this is a really great deal. I simply thought this was another promotion item. So I placed quite a sizable order for my family. Then Grubhub called and said the place wants to add $8 back to my order. I told them it is bait and switch and to cancel the order if they are not going to honor the discount they advertised without realizing that the $0 item was their mistake and they want to charge $8 for the order with just the sides without adding the main meat or falafal. They didn't cancel the order.Then the delivery guy came and told me they are adding $8 to my order again! So I told the guy I don't want to pay for just the sides for $8. I told him to take it back. Then he went on to complain how far he drove and accused me of wanting free food and ripping off the restaurant. And in the end, he flipped out his phone and said he's going to take my picture for wanting free food whereas I was giving the food back! Two can play this game and I have my phone on me too. When I pulled out my phone and told him I can take his picture too, the guy drove away. I only got a small side picture of him and his car. Please be very careful of this creepy and aggressive guy if you see him delivering your food. I was shaking to the extent because I was scared of my safety and thought I have to call the cops. All they could have done is to honor and own up to their mistake if they want to be nice to make me order more from them or if they don't want to honor it, just simply call me if I want to add a meat or falafal to charge the full price or tell me they will have to remove the item because of the error. They wanted to make money off of an incomplete order and get pissed off when I don't agree to it.In the end, I had to pay for the whole order and had to deal with the driver issue although Grubhub honored the $8 off. Since we are stuck with the order but still scared of spit or sneeze in the food because of the bad intentions with the driver especially during Covid times, we had to wash everything and recook everything.About the food: the Shwarma is really dry, I have had way better from Hummus & Pita Co. Lamb with pine nut was good though although it smells very gamey. Never again. There are so many other choices out there with better food and simple delivery. However good the food is, the harassment and hassle is not really worth it at all.
Well, overpriced and small portions. The meat and the chicken are lightly seasoned and overcooked. The rice is oily and dull. Nothing is Mediterranean in this food. I am just saying.
