We have eaten many times to Max’s Es-Ca. Each time the food is delicious. The wait staff are professional and efficient. It’s deceiving with a large mostly empty eating area outside. Love that the inside was packed and bustling. You know the food is fresh. Dining room management was friendly. Street parking. We recommend.

Ms. Anita Agatha Bridget Baginska was incredibly helpful! It was our first time dinning on Staten Island and we were recommended to try Max's Es-Ca's and it was delicious. Ms. Anita Agatha Bridget Baginska was very kind and welcoming, which we appreciated after seeing how packed it was, she quickly helped get a table prepared for us and it meant so much to us because we weren't sure we would get a table, but she went above and beyond for me and my wife's 40th anniversary

The food is amazing, and my waiter, who did when mention his name when we first got sat down (I can't remember; currently) was honest and on point ourv entire stay!.
Credit to that waiter as he was correct by answering my question about their steak, the steak here in amazing!
My wife and I had a great experience at Max's Es-ca on 07/06/25. It was on a Sunday so it was a little slow when we got there at 6 pm. Great dining room, I impressive bar, and professional wait staff. Good selection of specials but we went for the Beef Wellington which was excellent. Serious dessert menu and cocktail list. We will be back! Not cheap but, you get what you pay for!

Had dinner with my wife yesterday. She ordered Seafood Paella from the special menu and it was over-cooked. My dish was good. When the food server took away the plates my wife’s plate was over half full. He came back in a little while and asked us how everything was? My wife told him her dish was dry and overcooked, he just said I’m sorry and continued on bringing us the check. No empathy at all that we spent a half 100 bucks on that dish.

We had our daughter's surprise graduation party at Max's Esca last night. Every single thing was outstanding- from the atmosphere, to the service, the drinks and the food. They created a beautiful, private space in the main dining room for us to decorate. Christina and Chrissy (& the rest of the staff!) took excellent care of everyone, and Nicole's cocktails were spot on. The food was incredible, as usual! Highly recommend!
