Wanted to eat Filipino food. Staten Island is very limited in choices. Me & my daughter (we don't speak Tagalog) waited patiently for someone to take our order (we were the only people there!), we literally stood in front of the steam table and verbally asked to make an order. We were ignored, I thought maybe they were busy. While we waited, in came a Filipino man and he was taken care of quickly (strike one). Once he placed his order we were allowed to place our order. There are no prices on anything, but the 4 small plastic bowls of food & a regular size piece of fish came out to $65 (strike 2). I give them the benefit of the doubt with covid inflation & I didn't ask the prices, I "assumed" pricing would be like a Chinese restaurant. The food was extremely salty. All the different foods we got tasted the same, the salt destroyed it. Not sure about the MSG, but I definitely had a screaming headache immediately after eating the food (strike 3). So if you're into high priced take out food, bad service, want your blood pressure to spike and a MSG rush this is your place!

I am all for supporting the culture and it's food but driving all the way from Brooklyn to this place was not worth it, I was better of getting Regular Chinese food. The food was not all that bad but at least keep it warm, chicken was cold, they had no Sauce or CHILLY!!! like wth! Very disappointed! I love the Philippines food and will try another place for sure! Never going back there..

Didn't expect it but, Maynila was actually something else. The menu is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Every thing that we ordered was incredibly fresh and flavorful. And also, the service was terrific and the staff was super courteous. Will definitely come back here!

Excellent food, and professional staff.

Authentic Filipino food served buffet style. It's okay but it woukd be impossible to give the place 4 stars simply because it is just a hot food buffet.

I always come here whenever I stop by Staten island so that I can get some awesome Filipino food. I don't know the names of most of the stuff, but they usually always have the main Staples (Adobe, pancit, menudo). The titas are super sweet and will let you sample if you don't know what to get. They also sell some homemade desserts as well as Filipino ingredients and snacks. Fyi, if you come during the holidays, they usually have a much larger hot food selection
