This was our second time going to Mello Bistro and just like our first time everything was amazing! The cocktails were right on point. Every signal thing that we ordered was sheer perfection . The grilled octopus was so tender. The homemade gnocchi was so light. The stuffed pork chop was delicious. .Along with the sesame crusted tuna and the filet of sole. Not to mention the delicious desserts. (Sorry I didn’t take pictures) The owner Zu was so gracious and also her husband who we got a chance to meet. We enjoy going out to eat and I do have to say This is one of my favorite restaurants on Staten Island. Cant wait to go back!😊

I just discovered Mello Bistro on Staten Island — a cozy and charming little restaurant with seating designed mainly for 2 to 4 people. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. A perfect spot for a casual date or quiet meal with a friend..
If I had to deduct any points, it would be for the room temperature. It was quite warm during my visit (early June), and the A/C hadn't been turned on yet. Hopefully that gets addressed soon, especially as the weather heats up. I definitely will come back again!

This small restaurant is a HIDDEN GEM! A perfect cozy bistro with its brick walls, small tables & soft jazz music (it also has an outdoor dining room). This sets the mood for wonderful service, well made cocktails, and most importantly, delicious & filling dishes. The beet salad is not to be missed, and the fish dishes & pasta are excellent.
