Meatballs were out of this world. French onion soup, amazing. Chicken parm, delicious. Surf and turf, wonderful. Love coming here, staff is also great.

I want to thank Richie for the fantastic service you provided .my daughter gave me a surprise 60th birthday ..the apps to the food and service was fantastic . My friends have been raving about everything. The meatballs was yes better then mine lol and the steaks omg delicious ? Along with the chicken parmasan the best I ever had ...I will never go anywhere else to eat or have a party thank you again ..I been sending everyone I talk to , to go here ...see you soon..:)

Even though we have a new steakhouse in Bay Ridge, all I have to say is I will be making the trip in from Brooklyn to come back to Metropolis as much as I can because it is well worth the trip!

Everything was delicious, from the Kryptonite Candy Bites, to the Wagyu Meatballs, to our steaks - each of them cooked exactly to order!

And our server Danielle was fabulous - Attentive and pleasant!

We had wanted to go to Metropolis since it opened. Last night, while out with a last minute decision, we decided to make it happen! They we very super nice accommodating us on a busy Saturday night. They sat us at a high top in the bar area. I was afraid it might be too noisy with the Yankee playoff game on, but no...it was perfect. The food was delicious. I very much enjoy grilled octopus, but in many places it is either too tough/chewy or over seasoned. At Metropolis is was excellent! Rosana loved her chicken francaise and specialty cocktail. While the food is important, the service and atmosphere are equally valued by us. If I could give them 10 stars in these categories if I could. John, our bartender and server, was wonderfully and pleasantly attentive. The entire staff was friendly and a joy to interact with, especially Joey, one of the owners. We will definitely be back soon, and while I do not know exactly when, we already know that we will be ordering/sharing the Tomahawk ribeye! A gentleman at the bar across from us had one that looked and smelled amazing! I was tempted to ask him for a taste...LOL

Loved everything about Metropolis. We were greeted by name when we walked in and were quickly seated. Entire staff, including owner Richie, made dinner a very enjoyable experience. The food is excellent. Wagyu meatballs are outstanding; octopus tender and delicious; Tomahawk steak cooked to perfection. . Can’t wait to return. Added bonus: noise level is low to moderate so you can actually have conversations while dining.

The food was outstanding! Seafood tower was amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Chilean sea bass was delicious.
Our server Danielle was great! Very personable & funny. We had a great experience & will definitely be back soon!

It was the second time me and my husband were having dinner in this restaurant, the first time we had a very good experience with the quality of food and very professional and welcoming service, so we decided to come back here to have my birthday dinner. The stuff in this restaurant made me feel so special - I almost cried. I just mentioned that it was my birthday, they brought a delicious Connolly plate with candles and sang Happy birthday to me...also, that night they had a live music, the singer was so great! He asked what songs would we like to hear and we sang together ❤️. The food and service are great. I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

From the minute we walked in, you can tell it was a welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress, Danielle, was EXCELLENT. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was amazing. Best French onion soup I've ever had. My pasta dish was a special and it was delicious! All our food was delicious. Can't wait to go back again!

First and foremost I want to say the owner and our waitress (Danielle) were phenomenal we came here for my husbands birthday and she was so sweet and the owner bought a drink on the house for my hubbys birthday. The food is AMAZING the wagu meatballs were insanely good we got the tomahawk steak ? was insane. I spilled my drink and Diego was so nice he looked at me and said no problem and cleaned it up even asked if we wanted to move we said no don’t worry about it right away I got a new drink and Danielle asked me if I was okay very very attentive love her, we got. New York cheese steak and Danielle ended up giving us a cheese cake filing cannoli looking desert so delicious she made it a point to make sure we tried it what a sweetie !
They are sweet even when entering we were greeted by Junior who was so sweet and welcoming he gave me my uncle vibes which I love because I felt right at home. Everything was perfection we will return soon ! Thank you all for you service and hospitality you outdid yourselves. A+++++++

From the minute I called for a reservation I was I was greeted with an upbeat, knowledgeable female employee on the other end of the phone.
My experience thereafter was nothing short of incredible.
My elderly grandfather, who had a hard time walking, had no issue as it was an easy walk from the free parking to our table. They were so kind that even one of the restaurant employees even came outside to assist my grandfather in walking in with his walker.
The temperature in the restaurant was perfect, making it extremely comfortable to enjoy our meals. A meal that did not disappoint! Growing up, my grandfather always took us to Peter Luger.. My family felt as did I that we were served the same high-end meal.. Even more impressed with his steak, my grandfather commented, " Now I don't have to pay for that dam Verrazano Bridge anymore," a comment that we all laugh over.. Moreover, our bill didn't feel the same as Luger!
We had the same quality meal, for half the price. Additionally, I was given (complimentary) the most delicious meatballs, so yummy that I only got a little bite before our kids nearly swallowed them whole..
I don't typically eat shellfish, but I TOOK the suggestion of my waiter and ordered baked clams, which were delicious, a fantastic suggestion. Metropolis has a bar, but I didn't feel like I was in a bar as this restaurant was extremely family-friendly.
The variety of beer had my husband elated. We didn't/ weren't rushed in an attempt to turn the table over.. Also, I didn't have to send anything back because even my steak was cooked a perfect medium. Although I find myself at this point in life living on the South Shore, it was definitely worth the trip to Lincoln Avenue as this restaurant will NOT disappoint you in any way.
Parking was easy, and we were on our way with a belly full warm from the lush meal. I suggest that if you're looking for a lovely evening in an atmosphere full of warmth and positive energy that you check out Metropolis, it's definitely worth it!

Had a lovely night here last weekend for an anniversary. Incredible porterhouse cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, my card was overcharged and was not resolved despite a dispute with the bank. While the food was delicious, I will not be returning.
