Mike's Place is a solid spot where the food is genuinely the star of the show. The menu delivers on flavor and the portions are generous and satisfying. Service was decent but a bit slow and inconsistent during our visit — could use some improvement during busier hours. The atmosphere is pretty bare bones and no-frills which is fine if you're just there for the food. Worth a visit for a casual meal even if the overall experience is a bit uneven.

This place is wild. You wanna get gaslighted.. come here. My friend and I went to this location for dinner. As I told my order to the waiter he asked me to confirm my order which he got correct when I repeated it back to him. He brings me the wrong order and as I go to mention it to him, he goes, “ no, that’s not what you asked for.” I was shocked by his response even though he asked me for my order twice and yet got it wrong anyways. He left the food in the table which I didn’t eat. Some man, which I’m guessing is the manager noticed the untouched food and asked if everything was alright into which I explained to him the situation and I asked him to take the food away because I didn’t want it at the point. He instead offered me a slice of cake… to compensate for the $21 sandwich..? Not enough. He then took it to the back to I guess to toss it out. When I went to pay, I had noticed that sandwich I never even touched was still on the bill. I asked for it to be removed and the manager said they were not able to take it out of my bill because everything is computerized… which makes 0 sense to me but okay. He then went to the back and got me the sandwich.. it was all wrapped ready to go.. which mean, they charged me for it but he or someone else was going to eat it… OUTRAGEOUS!!!! He tried to give it back to me but why would I touch it if that’s not what I asked for anyways.. point of the story, these people charged me for a sandwich I didn’t order, tried to gaslight me into believing I ordered the wrong thing, took the sandwich and tried to return it to me. Yeah, this place needs a new management. ASAP

The front desk denied me the use of a valid Valpak coupon of $5 of of $30. Unbelievable how cheap and stubborn this place can be. Shame on the owner. Will never return and I am reporting them to Valpak.
