What’s not to like. They tend to you like no other restaurant I been to in my life, lots of food, everything is fresh and very reasonable. It’s not a formal restaurant, kinda small, but will ? return.
Staten islands best kept secret, the best in Staten island with some very creative new options every week and excellent martinis. Pistachio martini is a must try and so is the Avacodo tuna salad served in an Avacodo.. The service is excellent and so are the prices. Thank you Misaki, your the best..❤️?
Another fake Japanese restaurant, sadly. If the food is so bad, who cares about the ambience or the service? Stay away from the place if you want fresh raw fish. Or you can search Google on what un fresh raw fish will do for your health. Your choice.

My favorite spot on an island.Misaki is an outstanding Japanese restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my dining experience. The menu offered a wide selection of authentic Japanese dishes, and each one was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the sashimi was top-notch. The miso soup was rich and comforting, and the tempura had a perfect crispiness. I walk in and get sat at a dirty table and get soy sauce all over my legs and purse. Then, I go back in after thinking about leaving and deciding to stay (this is at 8:55) and they tell me they close at 9… why I go on the website and every app and it says they close at 10. Idk if they thought I was already mad and wouldn’t tip bc I’m black or what but I’m furious. Don’t go here.

Ordered steak and shrimp hibachi and had a hair in it. Made a new one but very unapologetic and staff couldn't care less. Nothing taken off bill either. Pathetic.
