I love everything about this place. I'm a picky eater and just wish she had more options for people who don't eat meat but I buy everything else anyway. She's very nice and her service always comes with a smile and conversation. Sometimes she might be sold out because people love her food ,so you have to get here early or maybe she needs to make more but I'm guessing she don't wanna waste food either. I will travel for this food .

Normally, by the time I get home to Staten Island from work in the city, the restaurant is either closed or sold out for the day. But today I was off, and I’m so glad I finally stopped in.
I ordered the jerk chicken, spinach, mac and cheese, and rice and peas — every single thing was incredible. “Delicious” doesn’t even do it justice! The owner was also so sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
This place is definitely my new go-to spot. Even if I have to call a neighbor to hold an order for me next time 🤣

My Boyfriend and I ordered from here today. We ordered the large Oxtails, Rice n Peas plate.. that comes with 1 side we chose mac n cheese. This plate will run you about $25 but when you consider the portion size...you definitely get a bang for your buck! 2 or 3 ppl could eat from that one plate. We also wanted to try the spinach so I ordered a separate small side which was $13 I thought that was a bit steep but it seemed like a popular item with the regulars and I love spinach so I paid for it anyway. Now for taste...The oxtails were v tender with a rich brown color and they were tasty...rice and Peas was flavorful as well as the mac n cheese both were prepared well and was not salty. The spinach side was v good and was loaded with turkey meat I dont regret the $13 I paid for it. We got a side of Hot pepper.. I would suggest getting as well..it had great flavor and good heat that to me tied everything together. The staff was also welcoming and polite and the food tasted like home..I would order from here again and would also recommend to others.

Fantastic!!!! Everything was so so delicious! I got there about an hour before closing and she was sold out of most food but even what was left so good. She made fresh plantains and Mac n cheese while I waited a few minutes. I bought a large oxtail, rice and peas, plantains and extra side of Mac n cheese for 2 and almost ate All. And had leftovers I'll be back soon, maybe tomorrow lol, she can have my money... But the decor and atmosphere is nice as well Homegirl's hands are Truly blessed! And the staff is kind and sweet. Also get there early.. Seriously get there when she opens or you will cry.. ♥️😋😋😋
