This is an amazing local sushi spot. I used to come here with my wife a lot when were dating. Since we moved away it's been about 5 years since I've been back but recently we went back and our waiter actually remembered us. Very welcoming and good food.

I moved out of New York a few years ago, and the food from Nakata is the only thing I miss. Nakata is the best you can get in the 5 boroughs imo. I've had Japanese food from many different places in NYC and several other states and I haven't found one that is as good. Maybe there are better places, but they are way out of my price range. For a person in the working to lower middle class, this place is where you want to go for Japanese food. I was someone who hated...
