I don't really leave reviews but I got fed up with this place. This is used to be my to go to place for sushi but not anymore. My last two orders I waited over and an hour and fifteen. The sushi used to be fresh back in the day but now me and my wife noticed the sushi fell off and it's definitely not fresh. Very unfortunate that we have to find another sushi spot now.

I took my wife for a night out for her birthday. I have heard a lot about this place before and we tried a delivery one time during the Pandemic but never dined in. We went around 6:30 p.m. and we ordered 3 rolls for me and 2 rolls for my wife. Portions are small but tastes good and we also had a Kane salad for both of us. Presentation was good. The patio had 2 other tables with people. The service is good but could be better. The only thing is that they took almost 25 minutes to prepare our meal and i was so hungry so i felt it was longer. I had all what in the pictures below and diet coke. Our bill was 35$. Again that includes 5 rolls in total in 2 kane salad with diet coke. I enjoyed the meal but was not full. I have been to sushi places before, and i think this place is good!!

Don't try to order anything on Friday. They are packing more people than they can serve. Wait time more then an hour even though they tell you 20 minutes.

We love Nakata, the whole family loves the food, and I mean from my very picky 10yo to my even pickier parents. I ordered delivery, take outs and large orders for parties, both pre and post covid. Everything was fresh, delivered timely, presented very nicely and... reasonably priced. A few things that we order most: lunch specials - salmon teriyaki, I add $1 for my favorite spicy tuna instead of California roll, no extra for brown rice. All regular (as in not special) rolls are fresh, my fave are all tuna rolls, eel rolls, and there is one with crab. Party plates are a must, they look so nice for any gathering, make the table look extra special, and sushi are gone before everything else, so popular. I never had a problem with the service, they've made a mistake with my delivery once, I called and they sent the correct item (and extra) within 15 min.

Been going here for years. However noticing there sushi is not too fresh. Got a delivery and had a hair in my Kani salad. I didnt want to make a big deal about it so i called and explained I did not want my money back, i did not want anything for free . I was just making a curtious call to let then know to be more careful. But instead i got spoken to very nasty. Here I am trying to be nice and im getting the attitude instead. Too many good sushi places on the island with fresh sushi , nice people minus the hair.

I love their food, my favorite sushi place on the island! I've been going to this sushi place well over 5 years and I can honestly say I've never had an issue. There is one delivery guy who's a bit rude but other than that, i really can't say a bad thing about this place.

Great place for sushi. Very attentive staff. I definitely recommend trying their specials on the blackboard, but only if you have an adventurous palette. So if your in the area and looking for a new sushi spot, this will become a local favorite.
I try to support small businesses and directly order from the restaurant so that they don't get slammed with third party delivery fees. This is not the restaurant to do this with. They prioritize all third party orders before phone. Very unprofessional setting in general. Attached is an example.

I've been ordering from this place for 10 years. Today I went to pick up sushi and, upon seeing me, the worker I have seen from years of being a customer commented long time no see, that I gained weight, and that it was a bad thing. I'm currently on medicine for a medical condition. Considering Genki and Kume are much better than this place, I will be taking my business there from now on.

Rating about 3.5. Food is good and a good value. Service is also good, but there is a language barrier in that they cannot offer suggestions about menu. It's been our go to place.

So i live EXTREMELY close to this place, we order from here atleast once a week for the past 5 years. They arw always super fast, and have only messed up something twice. Definitely one of the best sushi spots.
