Rude staff , always an issue with delivery. Something missing , something wrong. Food good so I always over look it … well today once again they forgot my soda . When I called I was told they wouldn’t be bringing it back because of the rain & being so busy … thanks so ruining my dinner … just lost a customer.

Absolutely stellar from point A to B!

I ordered a last minute catering sandwich and pizza package for my company and the staff at Basil went above and Beyond! They gave me extra food because of the amount of time it was going to take to prepare (I was fine waiting, I understand a last minute order of that size it not easy to accommodate). They did originally forgot our soda (I didn't call about it, again, was fine with the accommodations) but they sent a 2nd driver out with it! Del the driver was amazing! I didn't catch the 2nd drivers name, but he was also a rockstar!

Everything was delicious and our guests from out-of-town were beyond impressed with this Staten Island eatery! Thank you Basil team of Forest Ave! You're truly excellent!

The food here is amazing!
Anything that they put out is always fresh and packed with flavor. The service is always friendly, inside is very clean and makes you feel welcome.
I would highly suggest to try their calamari and steak sandwich. I’d recommend this place 10 out of 10 times to anyone.

I recently visited Basil Cucina and was blown away! I ordered the Mamacita’s Panini and the Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls both were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were incredible, and everything was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was amazing. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I would a million percent recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Italian-inspired comfort food. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!!

I tried Basil for the first time last week and ordered the shrimp sandwich and the eggplant garlic knot sliders… both were absolutely delicious! I was so impressed that I ended up ordering from them two more times this past week! Today, I got the eggplant garlic knot sliders again, and they tasted just as amazing as they did the first time. The consistency, flavor, and attention to detail in every dish really stand out. Basil has officially gained a forever customer, and I’m excited to try more items from their menu. Highly recommend!

I have been a customer of Basil for about seven years now and always order the same thing, but today when ordering I met with the most nasty stuff member, then when asking to speak with a manager I was put on hold for a very long time and this was 10:30am today. So then after no one came back to the phone I called back and time after time I was hung up on, it was terrible. Then she had someone pretend to be a manager telling me that my regular order that cost about $17. Had been raised to almost $22. And that the prices had changed last week but I explained that I had just ordered yesterday and paid $17, that's when he hung up. Now I really like Basil food but how can I trust them preparing my food ever

I like Basil, but when I order online, somebody needs to CALL OR TEXT ME when my food arrives, like I asked. The food sat for half an hour because the app can't track the restaurants courier, and someone was vaccuming so if they rang the doorbell I heard nothing. They do this repeatedly where the drivers don't call, which is a shame bc I don't want to rate this place low. I ***REALLY like their food. It's delicious. The rice balls are excellent, and the salads.

You need to call (or text) people when their food arrives so it doesn't sit in the cold for over half an hour, and I'm still thinking the guy didn't come yet. This food was expensive.

lunch specials are $11 to $14 for a sandwich riceball and drink!!

Not only is the food here amazing but the delivery driver went the extra mile to make it right. He had accidentally forgotten our soda but he ran to a deli to get us a new one instead of going all the way back to the store. Jeff is very nice and we’ve gotten deliveries from him before! Love this place !
