I went there once to buy an italian sandwich a couple of weeks ago and i noticed that they weigh the sandwich to price it
I have never seen anybody put a sandwich on a scale and guess what ? I was charged $16 dollars for a roll sandwich
Never going there again
NOT THAT I CARE ABOUT THE 25 CENTS BUT ITS ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL, MY DRINK SAID IT WAS 1.25 BUT THE LADY CHARGED ME 1.50 AND SHE SAID IT WAS THE BOTTLE DEPOSIT AND TAX. I PAID BECAUSE LIKE SAID ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY.

meticulously clean store. Premium meats and cold cuts. Beautiful cheese selection. Outstanding fresh pastas, largest selection of house brand ravioli. A few pennies more than a supermarket, but so worth it for premium products. Even a large selection of cooked items. A Staten Island institution for many,many years. Try a little bit of this and that, broaden your horizons. Great store!!!
I assumed this Pastosa location was the same as the Richmond ave location, but the meat sauce was definitely not the same.. Sticking to the Richmond ave location from now on. Also, the deli counter guys at Richmond ave have way more pep in their step and acknowledge you immediately unlike here..

Tried the regular and butternut squash raviolis. Both delish. Vodka sauce is amazing. Made chicken parm with the fresh mozzarella. The best.
