Thought I found an Italian paradise as we visited friends in Staten Island - this version of Pastosa sold us almost rancid eggplant parm prepared dinners. Price was right so we bought 2 - also bought 2 stuffed artichoke that were very dry, hard and tasteless. Bread and ravioli were fresh. Wasted $50 on what was supposed to be excellent Italian food - however, there are many other Salumeria's nearby to try next time.

Like Pastosa have shopped here for more then 20 years .Always good but the last few times a bought the butter cookies they were not fresh. I don't care if you charge more just want them to be fresh

Only know homemade mozzarella. Was warm lol. Delicious. Watery but that’s normal for fresh I believe. Will try other things like thin cut chicken breast. Was crowded and had to park block away. But was worth it for the best mozzarella I have had for a long time. $24 for 2 big balls lol.

Delicious food and great service

The fresh bread, mozzarella, raviolis are the best in town. Only my mothers home made manicotti crapes, meatballs and seafood salad can compete. You don't have to wait for a special occasion. You definitely get what you pay for. Weather your starting from scratch or want prepared fine Italian meal. The bottom line is PASTOSAS
