Pauls Dogs.. Famous Hot Dog Truck

My family have been coming to this local favorite for many years. Their signature relish goes very well with the plump hotdogs and crisp onions. The staff are very welcoming. Within two bites, a single hotdog goes too fast so you definitely need to get more than one. This is a must stop on your way to Wilmington and to the beaches. Always delicious!

I’m going to stick with 5 stars even though it wasn’t my favorite hot dog because … that’s just my personal preference and I respect the history behind generations that love Paul’s hot dog for what it is and has always been. I personally prefer the gigantic grilled all-beef Costco hot dog but this one is small, light colored inside and out, boiled. Very different from a grilled beef hot dog but…. The bread and toppings are AMAZING! Great fries. Great cake. Great sweet tea. Great prices. Great atmosphere. Great service. Outdoor seating. Clean. Nice bathrooms. Plenty of parking. It’s a feel-good meal for sure! Google a pic of the hot dog if you are picky so you won’t be surprised. I will gladly go back, I really enjoyed my meal at Paul’s Place.

I loved the comment, "Why don't you have sauerkraut (or sauragrout as she put it). This deficiency prompted a one star rating from Christine. "I only eat hot d g (sic) with sauragrout (sic)," she wrote. As a nine-year old I watched a baseball game between the Yankees and the Orioles in Baltimore. The vender offered only 'Red Hots' which was a hotdog in a bun with a strong line of mustard down the center, nothing else. I thought: "yuk, no ketchup - I only eat hot dogs with ketchup." Best hotdog I ever had! Hey Christine, they will slather anything you want with sauerkraut in Bucyrus, Oh. Paul's has been in business forever because their ingredients are fresh and they have a variety of toppings....just not kraut. Not much call for kraut in the rural South. Bless your heart - expand your horizons. Paul's is comfort food at it's best!

What got my attention was the rainbow flag waving on the truck on Pride Month. I loved you guys already just from that and then the food was delicious so I’m definitely coming back!

I have decided not to eat there since all they use is styrofoam. They should be helping out with the environment and trying to create less waste.

Truly enjoyed our Saturday night dinner at Paul's Place! Took our visitors for a 'truly unique' and special and fun hotdog dinner here. Rusty doesn't eat onions, but absolutely LOVED the tasty, crunchy ones here! Thanks to the friendly, efficient staff who ALWAYS have the best attitudes as well! See you again soon!!

This spot never fails to impress. They serve fantastic dishes for convenient rates, there is no waiting time even when they are packed.

Paul's dogs has my favorite pastrami...Tomorrow I have an appt, at 501 Seaview and will stop for a sandwich on the way home.
