One of my favorite places to eat on Staten Island. Always the highest quality. Unique pizza that you will absolutely be addicted to. Great family owned business. Beyond recommend them!

DISGRACEFUL... I ordered a slice at 1pm (1 hour after opening) this place has to be serving old pizza from the night before, I requested that they didn't heat up the slice since I was in a rush and it was literally ice cold like it just came out of a refrigerator. There's no way that pizza was made today. I hope the $2 you've saved was worth losing a customer, God knows what other Shady money-saving tactics you practice hopefully the local wildlife will eat it because I certainly wont.

I LOVE this pizzeria. There are soooo many pizzerias on Staten that are great but Pizza D'oro is and will always be in my top 5. The sauce is so delicious and the cheese is super fresh. The staff treats you like family and I ALWAYS feel welcomed here. I definitely think it's worth checking out!

Decent pizza parlor. Old interior. No parking. Need to park at adjoining strip mall. Friendly staff. Good for take out only.

The spicy marinara on the meatball was perfect. They made an awesome stone white pizza with white sauce, onion, meatball, sausage, and fresh mozzarella (custom - not on the menu). Wow! I'd venture to say this is the best place to eat in town. We had a good meal. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was good. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just because it was good, not great. I've had much better chicken parmesan in many other places. I do have to say though the garlic bread was pretty tasty. I had the big double-crust which is okay but a little doughy under the toppings. The bottom of the crust was perfect. The food was so-so and the service was quick. The closest parking is paid to park, but we were able to find some street parking not too far away. The plaza was PACKED and I could not find parking. I was not a fan of the music that was playing as it seemed more appropriate for a bar setting. Aside from the parking and music, I would still recommend that you give Pizza D'oro a try for the food and service.

old school family run shop. started eating here in the late 70's and its still the same pie you get today. really good dough with homemade sauce and top quality cheese. i give it an 8.9. the customer service is top notch.

I first had pizza doro in 1977 i loved it but i grew up down to Blick from Joe & pats ,after school I'd go into my friends house who lived 2 blocks away from pizza doro times were good back in the day....When I was able to drive I always stopped by for a slice ,the sauce ,cheese and dough have a unique taste ,I call it the sleeper of all pizzerias, well tonite 10/2 I placed an order for a pie ,rice balls(2) and a Calzone everything tasted great ,I've had Calzones from many spots on the island and this Calpine IS the BEST very filling and flavorful you can say I enjoyed my dinner thanks to all @ pizza Doro

This is actually my favorite place to go when I want a pizza out of all the pizzerias on Staten Island everyone talks about Goodfellas and the others which are very good and everyone likes Brothers but I really like the pizza at Pizza D'oro. I don't know if Neil still owns the place but he was at this location for a long time he's a great guy and I've never had a problem with the quality of the pizza at this location in my opinion this ranks as one of the best on Staten Island.

The pizza to me is too oily it's not really that good now if you want a really good pie there's plenty of other places on Staten Island but my favorite place now is Mike's meatball in Travis Staten Island they make a really great fresh pie all the ingredients of fresh and the sauce is out of this world

I am impressed, Pizza D'oro was actually fabulous. Extremely pleasant, clean, and beyond friendly. Everything we had here was fabulous. Bonus that their service is so fantastic, they are so quick and welcoming. I liked it.

I've been trying different places recently. Had a couple of slices from PDO and they were good. Sauce was good and the texture of the dough was good. Ordered 2 pies today. They said 15 minutes and were ready in 15 minutes. Again the sauce was good, a lot of mozz and not oily like some others who use cheap mozz. Crust was tasty and light and airy and the dough was good. Elderly ladies behind the counter are pleasant. I will go back again.
