I’ve had a few mishaps with this Playa Bowls location before, but this time was the last straw—I will never return for the sake of my health and safety. I found a piece of metal in my fruit bowl. It’s most likely left over metal from opening a can. Thin enough to consume without noticing. This is completely unacceptable and a major safety hazard. Whether it was a one-time mistake or a sign of larger food safety issues, I can’t risk eating here again. If you choose to visit, be extra cautious.

every time I go it’s so inconsistent today I went to try them one more time bc it’s the closest juice bar to me. The girl w black curly hair that was working there made my juice and she didn’t even fill it up all the way she literally filled it half way and didn’t even make the right juice usually when I go it’s straight green and this one was straight up yellow it tasted like she only put apples and a piece of pineapple in it when my juice is supposed to have like 5 different things ( mermaid fuel juice) and when she gave me my acai bowl she was like “ here” didn’t even give me a bag or nothing I just had to hold my juice and my acai bowl in the cold there were 3 other ppl waiting behind me so I didn’t even wana bother to tell her about the juice or the bag it’s just something that should be done without having to ask. Not coming here again

Went here about a week ago with my sister and had a terrible time! Terrible enough to write this review! Usually the playa bowls are so kind but the girl “helping” us was so rude, and on top of that my sister had a minor allergic reaction. She didn’t eat anything but her playa bowl that definitely had some sort of trace of peanuts in it!! This store is lucky she isn’t deathly allergic. Never going back again to this location. Never had a problem at the other Staten Island location!

Music was absolutely blaring. Playing everything from old tunes to new rap music, I felt like I was in a club. The prices are out of control here. I paid nearly 17 dollars for one bowl, which was a mediocre size and definitely not the best I’ve ever had. Needless to say I will not be returning here despite the kind worker, but I do hope They reconsider the playlist they chose for working hours.

Amazing açaí, but the girl working there was very unprofessional. She put almost nothing of Nutella like if it comes out of her pocket. Asked her about the points and also had no idea. Not nice service.

The açai is really good but the girl with short and blonde hair should improve. She doesn’t smile and she prepares the açai with very little nutella and toppings, and although I paid 1$ for peanut butter she only put a small scoop.
I was offered a free sample while waiting for my order.

I used to LOVE this place back when I worked at the mall 2021-2023. However the prices have just gotten ABSURD. The same basic Acai bowl I was paying 11$ for in 2022 is now 15$!!!! Just absurd. Can’t even bring someone here for 2 bowls without paying over 30$. They’ve lost my business because of these outrageous price increases as it’s just completely unaffordable
