Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This Popeyes was kind of a mess several months ago. It was very disorganized. However, since the new manager, Sayful, took over, the place is run much better, and it's a way more pleasant experience. The food is always good and the wait time in the drive-thru has diminished. Way to turn it around, Sayful!

Sayful is the best!! He is an incredible Store Manager and he makes the expirence and overall pleasure! I wish everyone could be like him! The food is absolutely delicious and is always made perfect and it is always hot and made very well! I can't stress it enough! Thank you so much Sayful for always making it a wonderful expirence!

I’m debating between two or three stars. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I ordered tenders, the new strip things, and fries. I could tell the chicken and fries weren’t freshly fried to order and probably sat out a while before they gave it to me. Also, it was very strange in there. It was like 930pm and almost all the lights were out, and when we pulled up no one answered the drive thru speaker for a good two minutes making us wonder what’s up with this place. Then, we we pulled to the window, the staff was literally preparing my pickup order id already place like so slowly. I get it, I’m not being a Karen you don’t have to run or go fast to serve my food, but they were literally moving SO slow. It was just weird it was below the normal walking pace. Moving slowly, stopping, blank stares. They forgot my drink too. Idk was definitely weird in there idk why they were working in half darkness. So ultimately I give it two stars because for $15 my food should have been both hot, and very tasty. I live by a better Popeyes too so I know what the foods like hot and “fresh”. This again wasn’t horrible and if you really want Popeyes as I did, it’s passable. But by all means if you’re not desperate just drive to the mall or go to the drive thru by the mall.

Be careful when paying. The prices they show on the board are not always the price they charge you. They sneakily try and charge an extra dollar on some of their items.

Are the paper cups in this store only for drinks? The front desk staff here should learn from the staff at 7-Eleven. I just wanted a cup of water.

Placed a mobile order for pickup and arrived 5 minutes after my pickup time to ensure I allow them enough time to prep and wouldn’t have to wait. They didn’t seem very busy when I arrived. The lot was empty and there was one person ahead of me. My order wasn’t ready and they didn’t start preparing until I got there. What’s the point of placing a mobile order if they didn’t begin preparing it until I arrive?! On top of that, I realized they forgot to pack my drinks when I got home and I wasn’t about to drive back again. Never going back to this location again.

This was the first Popeyes I've visited that did not have fries. I stopped by at 12:35 PM on a Monday (2/3/25)—prime lunchtime—and was surprised by this. Because there were no fries, I ordered three drumsticks. They were okay in size and tasted fine, but not the best I’ve had from Popeyes. I can see where some of the negative reviews are coming from. That said, the restaurant was clean, and the service was decent.

I ordered a bundle with 5 pieces of bone in chicken, 2 biscuits, and two regular sides. I’ve ordered this bundle a couple times before but it wasn’t until the most recent two times that I’ve had an issue with my order. The first time we got four pieces of chicken rather than the full 5 piece that it was supposed to include. The second time the two regular sides were so small, it was as if whoever was packing the food got hungry and decided to eat half of it before handing it to me. Both times were the same employee that was packing the food. This employee also failed to include my receipt for the order both times. But I did not think that was too big a deal as I was not expecting anything to be wrong with the order. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed I was missing a piece of chicken in my order. Because I didn’t get a receipt I wasn’t even able to file a complaint on the Popeyes app (I ordered through the drive thru and paid with cash). The second time, I made sure to count the pieces of chicken before driving off and this time the number of pieces was correctly. But, I made the same mistake of not asking for the receipt before I drove off. This time though, I figured the receipt would not be too big a deal since I made sure I got the correct pieces of chicken. However, when I got home this time, the issue wasn’t the chicken but rather the two “regular” sides that came with the order (photos included). Next time, I’m definitely going to ask for a receipt and also will get the name of the person packing the order.

Always lack of selections. Sometimes they are out of certain flavors, sometimes they are out of bone-in wings. Every time you order something, and they say “oh, I’m sorry we are out of …. “
